Filippo Inzaghi scored goals on either side of halftime to secure a vital away win for AC Milan on
the first day of Champions League group play. With the 2-1 win at Olympique Marseille, the
rossoneri keep pace with Real Madrid, who easily won their game at FC Zurich by 5-2. Milan were
outplayed for large portions of the game, according to at least one report, but with the way things
have been going, they'll take it.

their 14th game winning streak against Nice rivals. The game ended 4-0 with star player Yoann
Gourcuff scoring two of the goals.
Bordeaux won the last 11 games of last season taking over the leagues title winners Olympic
Lyonnaise who had dominated the French league during the last decade.

faced with arguably our toughest task yet: deciding this week's #1. The identity of the top club
was of course cast into doubt after last week's #1 was outplayed and outcoached for large portions
