Episode 09: Operations Suspended
In this episode, Ginge laments today's announcement that the WPS has suspended operations for
the 2012 season...and he has a few words for Dan Borislow who is at the center of the shit storm of
fail.

Episode 08: MLS and the Money Conundrum
In this episode, Ginge expresses his acceptance and concern about MLS and the money conundrum
that was highlighted again by the finalizing of Tim Ream's transfer to Bolton. I also make a bad
joke in reference to a 70′s TV show.
"Kiss me, I'm orange!"We promised we wouldn't talk about this godforsaken story
anymore until there was confirmation - but we are renowned liars... and desperate for some news.
With that, there is movement afoot on the most protracted TFC transfer saga of the off-season,
Richard Eckersley aka "The Ginger Affair".
Episode 07: America, Fuck Yeah!
In this episode, Ginge reacts to the busy weekend of US National Team matches. Should Pia
Sundhage be criticized for celebrating too much? Which players likely impressed Klinsmann? Find out
what the Ginge thinks in this US Soccer-tastic edition of the show.
Episode 06: Soccer and SOPA
In this episode, Ginge discusses how the controversial SOPA and PIPA bills currently in Congress
are dangerous legislation that could have far reaching implications for the soccer community here
in the United States.

Episode 05: MLS and the Boy Scouts
In this episode, Ginge expresses his concern about MLS and the Boy Scouts of American forming a
partnership. As a soccer fan, I feel it sends the wrong message. As an Eagle Scout, it's another
reminder that something I worked very hard to earn has been sullied by a narrow minded view of the
world.
Episode 01: Twitter Can Suck
In the first episode of "The Ginge Has Lost His Mind", I explain why in the wake of certain news
events, something as unique and important as Twitter can really suck. Enjoy!

Welcome to the 2011 Creamsicles: The Dynamo Theory Awards.
For the first time, Dynamo Theory will be honoring the best of the best from the 2011 Houston
Dynamo season. Hopefully this becomes an annual extravaganza, but we'll have to see how things go
this year first. We surveyed our readers and staff members to determine the winners and we'd like
to first thank everyone for participating in the voting!
It was a busy week in European football so Richard and Ginge have lots to cover on this week's
episode. We have domestic results from Germany and England of note, an exciting fifth match round
of Champions League action and Sepp Blatter being stupid yet again. CSRN MEDIA PLAYER
It's a special edition of the show, with Ginge with you to get some things off his chest about
both the future of the American Soccer Show (don't worry it's not going anywhere) and some soccer
topics. Zach responds to criticism of his comments about David Downs and offers his thoughts on
MLS' playoff system getting bombed by the fans and media alike.
The Euro 2012 qualifying group stages are done, some teams are in, some still have a playoff and
others start the road to World Cup 2014 qualifying. Ginge and Richard are back to cover all the
news from that, along with spending some quality time with Kirsten Schlewitz discussing all things
Italian football.
'MLS Fans Should Be Thanking Seattle' - That's The Ginge Speaking, Not Me
You wanna know why winning a third straight U.S. Open Cup matters? Because it's that much harder
to ignore. Zach Woosley over at Dynamo Theory has never been confused for a Sounders fan, but today
he wrote what is probably on a lot of people's minds: There are no excuses for sandbagging other
tournaments.
Richard and Ginge are back in the wake of another interesting week of European football. The
title race is back on in England but not all is positive. We react to the Istanbul banner raised by
Manchester United fans in their mid-week clash with Leeds United and discuss fan behavior in
general. We also discuss the financial inequality in Spain and Ginge attempts to pronounce the
clubs of the Greek SuperLeague.
Houston Dynamo (9-9-12, 39 pts.) vs. FC Frisco (13-9-7, 46 pts.) Pizza Hut Park - Frisco, TX -
7:30pm
I, the Ginge, will be among the Dynamo fans at Pizza Hut Park today
so you're on your own to discuss today's match. Hopefully I'll be celebrating Houston's first road
victory of the season.
I'm in a poll sort of mood. This should have gone out sooner, while the flames were hot, though now
the numbers may reflect a more grounded response. Here's the transcript, provided by Ginge's
earlier post:I know a lot of fans have been doubting, but they're not fans to me.
Another action packed show this week with plenty to discuss from England, a strike in Spain and
Joey Barton is at it again on Twitter. More importantly, Getafe rolls out Hot Sex Zombies!! We also
continue our series, Ginge Learns to Properly Pronounce the Names of English Football Teams. CSRN

Richard and Ginge are back, still haunted by some microphone gremlins but persevering none the
less. On the show this week, we wax philosophic about the opening weekend of EPL action, talk Joey
Barton and look on as Cesc Fabregas makes a "shock" transfer to Barcelona. CSRN MEDIA PLAYER
In our debut episode, Ginge and Richard dip their toes in to the murky lake of football and
discuss the beginning of the European season over the weekend, preview the EPL and Richard manages
to upset fans of the WPS. It's a banner start really. CSRN MEDIA PLAYER
Happy Friday everyone! It's shaping up to be a nice day in Seattle and its even better now that
the Seattle Sounders are able to get back to some normal MLS action. No friendlies, no all-star
game, and no crazy travel horror stories. Just an opportunity to grab three points off a struggling
Houston Dynamo team.
I think I can safely speak for all Sounders fans in saying that last night's 1-0 loss to San
Francisco FC in the first leg of Seattle CONCACAF Champions League qualifier sucked. A lot. We
spend a pretty good chunk of today's show talking about it, including whether we think the
Manchester United game had anything to do with it, what lessons we might be able to take from it
and what failing to advance to the group stage would mean for this team.

Last week was a pretty big and very up-and-down the Sounders, but it ended on the highest of
possible notes. After a disappointing loss at home to FC Dallas, Seattle went into Rio Tinto and
ended RSL's two-year-old, 29 game home winning streak in MLS play. The win came as a surprise (and
an exceedingly pleasant one) to most of us, but it certainly wasn't without its downside.
I found myself in a McDonald's Saturday morning, drinking a cup of coffee after my 6 year old
son's soccer game. A battered copy of the day's Houston Chronicle was piled at the table next to
me. Bored, I thumbed to the sports section trying to find the pregame writeup of the upcoming home
match between the leaders of the Eastern Conference.
On June 11th at Robertson Stadium, Dynamo defender Mike Chabala, fans and families of pediatric
cancer patients will be hosting the 3rd Annual "Bald is Beautiful" celebration from 4:30pm to
7:30pm prior to Houston's match against Chivas USA.
I will be covering the event for the blog to help raise awareness about not just this event but all
the work The Curing Children's Cancer Fund does in the effort to find a cure for childhood cancer
by providing financial support for some of the country's leading pediatric cancer researchers.

The early indications are that the Seattle Sounders are at least getting close to full health.
Steve Zakuani is talking about this being the start of his season, Nate Jaqua is apparently going
to make his gameday roster debut and Brad Evans looks to have made it through a week of practice
unscathed.
Jason and Jared are back to talk Charlie Davies, the rash of injuries picked up by American
strikers, Grant Wahl's presidential bid, MLS soliciting for feedback on TV broadcasts, Stu v.
Clint, Freddy Adu's good start in Turkey, and MLS in Vegas. Last, but not least, The Ginge comes by
to make an announcement you'll want to hear.
- Jason Davis
This is a momentous American Soccer Show if ever there was one. Jared and I cover all of the
pertinent American soccer news while making references to Jim J. Bullock and shameless pleas to
Bill Simmons, but the real story is the end of the era of The Ginge.
We don't start there, of course.
Another week and another episode of America's Favorite Footy Game Show, Winning Ugly. On the

On this show, Jason gets the episode number wrong. Then Jason and Jared cover the MLS schedule
unveiling, the genius of #MLSscheduleIsLateBecause, the LA teams (and Becks) with soccer writer
Luis Bueno, Andy Najar being a kid, listener emails, Charlie Davies, second division sanctioning,
and more.
It feels like Season 3 just ended...but we are back with the Season 4 premiere! It's "The Battle

Throwing up the new American Soccer Show a little early here, just in case you need something to
close out your weekend.
Jared DuBois (follow the guy on Twitter, you won't be disapppointed) fills in for The Ginge. We hit
the USMNT January camp, Americans moving and being pushed down the depth chart abroad, MLS combine
thoughts with Travis Clark of MLSsoccer.
The new year is upon us and with the turning over of the calender comes many traditions like
resolutions and eating black-eyed peas. People also like to make predictions or bets, if you will,
concerning things they feel might occur over the coming year. I figured it might be fun to discuss
some bets I think it would be worth placing on the game of soccer in 2011.
