The Spanish giants Barcelona have been continually linked with a move for the Arsenal captain Robin
Van Persie, and the player himself has often stated that the only other club that he would like to
play for is Cesc Fabregas' team. So if the Flying Dutchman decides that he wants to move on this
summer [.
Today is one of the most important days in the American sporting calendar, as the NFL's Super Bowl
takes place. But well before the rival Giants and Patriots kick off in Indianapolis, the real clash
of the titans will take place at Stamford Bridge. Either Manchester United or Chelsea have won the
last seven Premier [.
The Philadelphia Union are working on solidifying their 2012 friendly schedule by talking to
Newcastle United about playing in Philadelphia during the summer, according to a report.
"I Wish I Was A Geordie," an American Newcastle blog, is reporting that Newcastle and the Union
are discussing the two clubs playing an international friendly this year.
You can make the Super Bowl even funner to watch by laying down some money on a few prop bets.
While there are dozens and dozens of prop bets available, here are a couple of our favorites. Oh,
and we'll tell you how to bet!
How many yards will the first touchdown go for?
While it's tempting to bet the 1-7 yards option, that isn't the smart bet.
The buzz surrounding the Spanish Burgos province these days has been remarkable. They are of
course, home to Mirandes, the Spanish third-division team that have made it to the
semi-finals of the Copa del Ray! Mirandes will meet Athletic Bilbao tonight at
their modest 6,000-seater stadium, which was expanded yesterday to accommodate another 1,700
visiting fans.
Outside of Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski has been the best player this year on the New England
Patriots. Unfortunately for the Patriots, Gronkowski is unlikely to be 100% during the Super Bowl
due to a high ankle sprain. In fact, it's uncertain at this point whether he'll even play.
Over the weekend, Gronkowski was seen wearing a walking boot.

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich angered their supporters yesterday with news that they would be
making a spectacular signing before the transfer window closed only for the fans to later find out
that it was a marketing gimmick.
Apparently, Bayern was trying to gain interest for their new app by creating intense speculation
as to who the signing would be.
Dancing Dani Barcelona wing-back Dani Alves seemed to signal the end of Real Madrid's Copa Del Rey
challenge with this unbelievable goal on the stroke of half-time during last night's quarter-final
second leg. It wasn't quite so clean cut in the end. Despite this wonder goal giving Barca a 4-1
aggregate lead, Real fought back [.
A clearly angry Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has ruled out Carlos Tevez's move
to Italian giants AC Milan. Mubarak who did not mince his words during an interview with The
National in Abu Dhabi.
Mubarak is livid with the way Milan have conducted themselves the entire time and have
continually maintained that loaning him with the option of buying at the end of the season is not
an option.
Liverpool are eyeing Valencia winger Pablo Hernandez according to Madrid-based daily Marca.
Reds boss Kenny Dalglish has kept his powder dry in the current transfer window, despite admitting
that he has money to spend if he so chooses.
But his side's recent poor performances are thought to have given the Scot pause for thought.
We've semi-regularly tried to post a Friday "What to Watch this Weekend" (WtWtW) viewing guide.
Starting today, we'll aim to bookend that with a companion "What We Watched this Weekend" (WWWtW)
summary pulled primarily from weekend email chatter among the CultFootball crew, maybe spiced up
with some video highlights.
Liverpool have been offered Serbia winger Milos Krasic by Juventus.
Krasic is not wanted by new Juve coach Antonio Conte and the Serie A giants have approached
Liverpool because ex-boss Rafa Benitez showed interest in him.
Juventus have told the Reds they can have Krasic for the £12million they paid CSKA Moscow for him
in 2010.
There are reports this morning that Arsenal are one of a few teams (including Manchester United)
that are watching the Italian U21 striker Insigne Lorenzo, who has been impressing watchers while
on loan from the Serie A giants Napoli. Lorenzo scored 19 goals in just 31 games at Foggia last
season, and has already scored [.
Valencia midfielder Ever Banega has agreed to stay in La Liga by signing a contract that will
keep him at the Spanish outfit till 2015.
Banega, 23, has attracted the interest of both Merseyside clubs in the past while also being
linked to Arsenal and German giants Bayern Munich more recently.
The Lyon left-back Aly Cissokho is looking for a way out from the French giants and he told the
press yesterday that Newcastle United (amongst other clubs) were talking to Lyon about a possible
move. "I am waiting for the green light from Lyon," he said. "I am a Lyon player and if they agree

Now we've all established the fact that Bavarian giants Bayern Munich
absolutely love their basketball games..."natürlich!!" So they turned up at full
force to watch last weekend's showdown between Bayern Munich and EWE Baskets Oldenburg at the Audi
Dome with their families.
West London giants Chelsea have finally completed the signing of England centre back Gary Cahill
from fellow Premier League side Bolton Wanderers after a protracted transfer negotiation with the
player over personal terms. Having completed a medical examination at the weekend, Cahill now joins
Chelsea's star studded squad as they look to get their title challenge back on track - and at just
26 may be viewed by the club as a long term replacement for fellow England defender John Terry at
Stamford Bridge.

flight by signing former France international David Trezeguet.

Manchester United for an undisclosed fee.
The 24-year-old Derry born international joins on a four-and-a-half year deal and will wear the
number 4 shirt.
Gibson, whose last appearance for United came in a 5-0 win over Wigan on Boxing Day, will arrive at
Finch Farm immediately and could make his debut when the Blues take on Aston Villa at Villa Park on
Saturday.
Benfica and FC Porto have done Portugal proud by ranking in the Top 10 of the club world rankings
from IIHFS for 2011. Barcelona and Real Madrid were one/two as the two Spanish giants continue
their battle on all fronts. Top 10 World Clubs: 1- Barcelona (Spain) 2- Real Madrid (Spain) 3-

Together with Neymar, Santos midfield wizard Paulo Henrique Ganso is another of Brazil's
hottest prospects who is continually been linked with a move to Europe with Italian giants Inter
and Milan thought to be seriously eying his services.
However, there seems to be a new entrant in the race to acquire Ganso's signature.
There are an avalanche of Arsenal transfer rumours around saying that the Gunners have already
signed a pre-contract with the Belgian giants Anderlecht to ensure that their pursuit of the
Argentinian striker Matias Suarez cannot be hijacked before the summer transfer window. A respected

Google and Apple may not exactly be the first names that spring to mind when looking for
alternatives to challenge Sky's dominance of sports broadcasting in Britain, but it should be no
surprise that two of the giants of the tech and online world are eyeing up sport as a way to lure
consumers into their new offerings.
The latest from the Carlos Tevez transfer saga reveals that the striker has reached an agreement
with Italian giants AC Milan. According to Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani, an agreement
between Tevez, City and Milan has already been reached.
Of course this only creates more controversy as Milan's city rivals Inter are also thought to be

Brazilian prodigy. However, in November Santos announced that Neymar had signed a contract that
lasted until 2014 and included a 50% pay increase.
Inter Milan play maker Wesley Sneijder has admitted that this could be his last season with the
Italian giants. Sneidjer has been with the Nerrazzuri since 2009 and despite signing a 5 year
contract extension last summer tying him to the club until 2015, the Dutch star has lately looked
very unsettled with the team.
Twice to Montreal? That's handy.
Taking time from their busy schedule of designing dodgy new kits with blasphemous monochromatic
badges, only being rumoured to actually sign players and wetting themselves over the possibility of
David Beckham's extended stay with LA Galaxy, TFC today released the official 2012 schedule via
Major League Soccer.
Maurice Edu is no stranger to being linked to a move away from Rangers, and Sochaux is the

after winning the first leg of their last-16 tie against Osasuna 4-0.

have feared another mauling when Cesc Fabregas netted twice in the opening 18 minutes at the Nou
Camp the second a superb chip.
It is being reported this morning that Arsene Wenger is still interested in buying the Japanese

reasons. The 21 year old Italy international missed City's 1-0 loss to Sunderland yesterday for
reasons that still remain very unclear.
According to City manager Roberto Mancini, Balotelli was not included in City's line up because
of an 'ankle problem'.
It's common knowledge that firstly,
Alex handed in a transfer request that has been accepted by
