FOX Sports’ Bundesliga TV schedule revealed for first month of new season

FOX Sports will launch its television coverage of the 2017/18 season on FS1 on Friday, August 18 with a live broadcast of Bayern Munich against Bayer Leverkusen. The new season will be FOX’s third consecutive season of its five-year TV rights deal with Germany’s top-flight league.

Compared to the 2016/17 season on FOX Sports, the schedule from FOX Sports is very similar so far.

After falling to their biggest rivals in the UEFA Champions League Final and the Bundesliga last season, Borussia Dortmund got a measure of revenge on Saturday by handing Pep Guardiola his first loss as Bayern Munich manager.

Marco Reus opened and closed the scoring for Dortmund, who defeated Bayern 4-2 to win the German Super Cup.
