For the first time in more than three years, a college football team received all first place
votes during the college football regular season. That team is LSU, who sits at 10-0. No. 2 in the
AP Top 25 is Oklahoma State, followed by Alabama, Oregon and Oklahoma.
Stanford and Boise State both fell after suffering their first loss of the season this
weekend.
While the top five in the AP Top 25 college football rankings stayed the same, we saw a lot of
movement elsewhere. LSU and Alabama, who will play next week, remain No. 1 and No. 2. Oklahoma
State destroyed Baylor to remain No. 3, while Stanford beat USC to stay No. 4. Boise State is No.
5.
Oregon and Oklahoma, who both have one loss on the season, are No.
Clemson was 8-0 and was ranked No. 5 in the nation. They had impressive wins over Auburn,
Florida State and Virginia Tech. Unfortunately for Clemson, that all went down the drain tonight
when they lost to Georgia Tech by a final score of 31-17.
Clemson got on the board first with a field goal but then Georgia Tech exploded.
Tashard Choice's fall from grace within the Dallas Cowboys organization came quickly. Last game,
he started for the Cowboys. On Saturday, the Cowboys waived the running back.
Early on in his NFL career, Choice looked really good. He averaged more than five yards per
career in his rookie and sophomore seasons.
