Former New England Revolution midfielder Tyler Rudy announced his retirement from soccer on Friday.

Rudy, 23, played at Georgetown University, collecting seven goals and 12 assists in four seasons. In 2015, he signed with the Revs and was soon sent on loan to the Rochester Rhinos.
