Dmytro Chygrynskiy receives medical clearance to play this weekend

Dmytro Chygrynskiy on Thursday received clearance to return to training following a knee injury back on Sept. 26 against Malaga.

Chygrynskiy completed his first full training session on Friday since the injury and was immediately examined by doctors. Following the examination the medical staff gave Chygrynskiy a clean bill of health and was given clearance to return to the team.

Iniesta and Marquez to be in lineup on Saturday against Getafe

For FC Barcelona's second match of the La Liga season Pep Guardiola will have two of his stars back on the roster. Both Andres Iniesta and Rafa Marquez will receive medical clearance on Wednesday meaning that they will be on the roster against Getafe. Guardiola has already confirmed that both players will start on the bench this weekend after receiving medical clearance.

Both Andres Iniesta and Rafael Marquez will not take part in tomorrow's match against Athletic Club Bilbao in the return leg of the Supercopa. Iniesta and Marquez are still recovering from injuries but Pep Guardiola will have a full squad with no other injuries to players.

FC Barcelona send Cáceres to Juventus on loan

FC Barcleona has finalized a not so secrect deal between Martin Cáceres and Juventus. The deal will send the 22 year old defender to the Italian side for a one year loan deal. There is also an option in the clause for the team to buy the player outright at the end of the year for €11 million plus €1 million in variable payments.

Cáceres is in Italy to undergo physical for transfer to Juventus

FC Barcelona defender Martín Cáceres landed in Turin, Italy today to undergo a physical with Juventus. If the physical goes smoothly the 22 year old is expected to go out on a year loan to the Italian side. The contract that will be offered is believed to also include an option of buying the player outright after the loan expires.

Barcelona to appeal Messi yellow card and Guardiola ejection

FC Barcelona today filed an appeal with UEFA for both the yellow card given to Lionel Messi and the ejection of coach Pep Guardiola in Wednesdays Champions League match against Bayern Munich.

The yellow card Lionel Messi received in the 17th minute of the match occurred when he was tackled in the box by Bayern defender Lell.

Coach Pep Guardiola only spent 18 minutes of yesterdays Champions League victory on the bench. The remaining minutes of the match were spent watching from the stands. Guardiola was ejected from the match in the 18th minute when a penalty was called on Lionel Messi who went down in the box after contact from a Bayern Munich defender.
