Stockport County striker Peter Thompson has urged his team mates to keep their heads high and
believe that they can avoid relegation as County are firm favorites to go down in the League this
season.
With a poor run of just one win in six games County find themselves lying two points outside the

have taken the lead as early as the 48th second, when on-loan defender Paul Huntington played a
perfect pass through to Nicholas Bignall, the strikers controlling touch set up the chance, but he

Liam Bridcutt on loan until January.
Bridcutt was captain of Chelsea's reserve side last season but couldn't break through into the
first team.
The 20-year-old has now been allowed out to gain further experience and will stay at Edgeley

youth set-up.
Manager Rafael Benitez appointed McParland to conduct a review of the Academy earlier this year and
the changes required continue apace.

Liverpool are facing a legal backlash after dismissing an incredible 16 backroom staff as part of
the increasingly bloody Anfield Rafalution.
The club sacked 10 Academy staff last week and another six long-serving employees left in the last
few days.
Distressed former employees with well over 150 years service between them argue they've been given
no valid reason for the termination of contracts and are unhappy with the club's first offers for

The Reds second string went down 2-1 at Sunderland in the FA Premier Reserve League North.

Liverpool midfielder Sebastian Leto is on the verge of joining Greek outfit Olympiakos on a season
long loan move.
Leto joined Liverpool in 2007 but has failed to make an impact in the first team and spent the
majority of his time in Gary Ablett's reserves. The Reds were supposedly trying to use the
Argentine in a part exchange deal for Albert Riera earlier in the season, but the reds offer was
