Mrisho Ngassa Scores In World Cup Qualifying
The former trialist with the Sounders helped Tanzania to a 2-1 away win against Chad on the

fight it out not only for the continental title but also for one of the four available places in
the FIFA Under-17 World Championship which takes place in Mexico this summer.
The African U-17 Championship has existed in its current form since 1995 and takes place every
two years.
Defending FIFA U-20 World Cup Champion Ghana (who also won the African U-20 championship in 2009)
has been drawn into Group B of the upcoming qualifying tournament along with Nigeria, Gambia and
Cameroon. Group A is made up of host Libya, Mali, Egypt and Lesotho.
The CAF U-20 Championship kicks off March 18 and runs through April 1.
