I know I've banged the drum about this before but in light of recent developments, I feel it needs
to be said again: Basel midfield maestro Xherdan Shaqiri is available for transfer right now for a
comparatively cheap price, and Liverpool would be mad to miss out on this golden opportunity to
sign the Swiss International.
When Sagna was out injured not too long ago, Arsenal have since been suffering in the right back
position. Bacary Sagna has been an extremely important part to the Arsenal backline, his backup
will also be essential as seen in recent matches where Arsenal look rather vulnerable on the right.
So the question comes, should [.

FIFA,EUFA, Some officials and some Turkish fans are racists, at least based on what I saw
happening to Eboue in a Galatasary match recently.
The window closes on Wednesday at midnight in England, and with Liverpool getting the bulk of
their incomings sorted well before the season even started there may not be all that much room for
the excitement of a last minute acquisition or three. Still, there are a few chunks of remaining
deadwood the club would desperately love to be rid of at any cost.

Liverpool:
teamsheet when it becomes available

Three games down, three left, and with the new Premier League season just over the horizon it
wouldn't be surprising to see many key players get more than a half of action when Liverpool heads
to Istanbul to take on Galatasaray later today.
It is being reported today that Arsenal have agreed a £4m fee with the Turkish giants Galatasary
for the 28 year-old defender Emmanuel Eboue, and he is leaving with Arsene Wenger's blessing. We
all knew that Denilson and Bendtner were going to be out the door, but Eboue was thought to be
staying at Arsenal [.
Over the course of the week, New England Soccer Today will examine a trio of players that
may be targeted by the New England Revolution during the summer transfer window, which opened on
July 15th. While the Revolution have revealed little in terms of which players has been targeted,
three possibilities have emerged.
The ever-erratic Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue has reached the great age of 28, but has never
really made a name for himself as a regular in the Gunners first team. He was a near hate-figure
for the Arsenal fans a few seasons ago but has now become like a lovable uncle that cheers up his

While the believed transfers into Liverpool FC of Alexander Doni and Stewart Downing continue to
dominate Anfield related press, it has gone a little more quiet on the subject of a new left back
arriving at the club.
With the club believed to be looking to bolster the squad in that area, will it be the likes of
Cissokho, Baines, Enrique, Izaguirre etc arriving at the club or will Kenny Dalglish look to rely
on the likes of Aurelio, Agger, Flanagan and Johnson to fill the role in the 2011/12 season?
There may finally be some movement with regards to Diego Forlan and whether it involves
Tottenham or not, it seems that the Uruguayan is hinting at a move to England.
He may equally have been hinting at a move to Turkey a few weeks ago, but Galatasary President
Enrqiue Cerezo has given the clue as to where his future may lie,
"Diego will decide what happens, but it looks like his first choice will be England," said
Cerezo.

It can only go from bad to worse for FIFA and its continued war against corruption.
Currently suspended FIFA vice president Jack Warner claims he has no intention of meeting with
investigators looking into the bribery allegations surrounding the troubled organization.
I was reading this article in the Telegraph and it really got me thinking about Didier Drogba and
next season. To cut a long story short, opinion here is that Chelsea have been impressed with
Drogba's form since January and both sides are open to Didier staying at Chelsea for another
season.
Now I was wondering about this.
