Newcastle United have confirmed that the now-Championship club is up for sale at a knock-down price of £100 million.

It's no surprise that Mike Ashley wants to sell - he's been trying to wash his hands of the club he loves for months, but has been unsuccessful.

It is said former Chairman, Freddy Shepherd, is among several interested parties - he'll probably be welcomed back with open arms after the mere disastrous period� that Ashley has presided over.
