Winning Ugly

Down the Byline at related • 0 views
Winning isn't always pretty, good teams find a way to take care of business. Yesterday at Livestrong Sporting Park, KC didn't have the greatest game, but were able to over come that and beat Toronto FC 2-1. The blue print for shutting down KC almost played out to perfection for TFC, without Torsten Frings and Eric Hassli in the lineup, TFC was able to hold their own, but in the end KC had just too much possession and too many chances and finally found the net.

While Houston extended their 21 match home unbeaten streak, it did not go as they had hoped, as the home Dynamo side let a lead slip away in the final minutes. "Where's the party at?"The only question is "how did it take so long?" Reports emerged this afternoon that Toronto FC and portly Chilean "defender"/ tequila aficionado Miguel Aceval have "mutually parted" ways. Brought in to TFC during the off-season alongside equally successful Ecuadorian Geovanny Caicedo, Aceval was touted to be one half of a South American centreback pairing that would solve The Reds' six-year defensive crisis.

The Ex is still on. I genuinely fear for these events because it feels like a rediculous money grab from the gate onward. This is amusing because once you get to BMO, prices dramatically increase.
