The high-flying Comets offense got a rude awakening on Friday night from a Baltimore Blast team that clearly looked like they had responded to the wake-up call given them by Syracuse the previous weekend as the Blast defeated the Comets 10-8 in overtime at the Independence Events Center.

The high-flying Comets offense got a rude awakening on Friday night from a Baltimore Blast team that clearly looked like they had responded to the wake-up call given them by Syracuse the previous weekend as the Blast defeated the Comets 10-8 in overtime at the Independence Events Center.

FC Barcelona continued their excellent home run in 2011-12 La Liga season with a 5-0 victory against the high flying Atletico Madrid. With this victory FC Barcelona moved to second place in the La Liga standing. David Villa opened the scoring for Barca, followed by an own goal from Miranda and three brilliant goals from Messi gave Barca a comfortable victory, which is Barca's fifth in a row against the same side.

Out of nothing, Chamakh and our little Russian combined in the 70th minute to score a fabulous goal. What had gone on before the 70th minute was so unimaginative by Arsenal that not only were we 2 goals behind but it looked like there was no chance of us getting anything out of this game.
