The season in Bundesliga ended in Werder winning the domestic cup and Nurnberg's promotion to
the elite. Last weekend Werder recorded a minimum win over Leverkusen in Berlin thus reaching their
sixth trophy in the cup and most importantly managed to book a ticket for Europa League next
season. Nurnberg's convincing 5:0 win over Cottbus reserved them
a place in Bundesliga and their main aim next season will be to stay there.

Final, Chelsea came from behind to beat Everton 2-1. In the DFB-Pokal final, captain Frank Baumann
retired in style as Werder Bremen will see Europa League football after defeating Bayer Leverkusen
