Liverpool have signed one of the best players in the world according to Alberto Aquilani's former
teammate Francesco Totti.
The Italian forward claims his ex-Roma teammate will be a huge success at Anfield despite only
featuring in two substitute appearances for Rafa Benitez's side.
The 25-year-old was brought to the Premier League in the summer as a direct replacement for the
Real Madrid bound Xabi Alonso, and Totti suggests his compatriot and friend has all the talent to
be a huge asset alongside Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres.

entertaining Serie A seasons of all time. The 1998-99 season had 3 leaders of the table (for the
first part of the season it was Fiorentina, who were winter champions but were then hurt by the
injury of Batistuta, then Lazio, who looked on their way to the Scudetto but fell off form towards
the end, and then Milan who surprised everyone and stole the Scudetto on the last day).

surgery for an eye infection in his right eye. The infection came when DeMerit accidentally cut his
