Once again, the soccer world shifts into a higher gear, this being August and everything, and once
again, we have new entries into the weekend football television schedule. This week, the two new
additions of note are the Bundesliga on GolTV and Ligue Un on Setanta USA as the German and French
leagues begin play this weekend.

As for the TV coverage in September... On Tuesday and Wednesday Fox has first pick and it remains
to be seen whether that first pick will be on FSC or FSN. Setanta has 2nd pick. Fox has 3rd which
will go on FSC or FSN. Fox has 4th pick which will go on Fox Sports Espanol. Setanta gets the rest,
I think.

Tonight's clash with Chivas USA is a much-anticipated match-up through out MLS as it pits the
top two teams in the League. United is currently riding a five-game unbeaten streak, taking sole
possession of the Eastern Conference (3-1-5, 14 pts) while the "Goats", who are undefeated at the
Home Depot Center, boast a League best 7-1-1 record (22 pts) to lead the Western Conference.

After a hectic travel day, the team and staff finally arrived safely in Southern California
early this morning. The team's original Thursday afternoon flight from Dulles was cancelled,
forcing the travel delegation to depart late last night divide in two seperate groups. In addition,
weather delays out of Dulles complicated matters.

contract dispute. According to GolTV, "this occurs despite efforts to continue GolTV's
