The Set: Hamburg 4 – 1 Borussia Dortmund

Hamburg shook off their early season funk and tore apart Dortmund at the Nordbank Arena. It was the 4th straight victory for the Dinosaurs at home against BVB. A series of early goals seemed to settle the match by the 12th minute. Guy Demel pushed the first over the line after a massive keeper error in the 4th.

Hannover 96 midfielder Sal Zizzo will be on loan with Bundesliga.2 club Fortuna Dusseldorf for the 2009-10 season. The deal was completed earlier today. American midfielder Sal Zizzo has been loaned from Hannover 96 to newly promoted Second Bundesliga side Fortuna Dusseldorf on a 1-year deal. The 22 year-old Olympian and UCLA alum is expected to see more playing time in Dusseldorf and perhaps increase his chances for a senior US team callup in the coming year. Sal Zizzo is close to finalizing a loan deal from Hannover 96 to Fortuna Dusseldorf of Germany's Bundesliga II.

The one-year loan deal is in the final steps of negotiations with Zizzo just needing to pass a physical before officially joining the recently promoted club.

Zizzo, who transferred to the Hannover in 2007 following his impressive performance at the U-20 World Cup, played in only five games for Hannover this past season.
