On Sunday, a Brazilian (and Corinthians) fan invaded the pitch of the match Bolivia 2 1 Brazil. The man had a sign in his hands that basically asked Dunga to take the "fatty" to the World Cup. As you may guess, the fatty is Ronaldo. The irony is the size of the fan, which makes him fat as well. It is the old story: similar people look out for each other.

The Copa Libertadores will be from the 4th to the 18th of October. The Copa do Brasil will run from September 15th to December 15th.

The bass player from the UK rock band Muse appeared in a picture wearing a jersey of Fluminense, as he worked on the band's next album named "The Resistance". The jersey was given to him by a Brazilian fan last year, when Muse played in Brazil.

However, this is not the first bass player of a British band to wear a jersey of a Brazilian club.

A Giant Suffers in Fourth Division

Santa Cruz, the traditional side of Pernambuco where Rivaldo started his career, is wounded to death. The club faced relegation three times in a row, from first division in 2006 to fourth and last division of Brazilian football in 2009. This Sunday, the suffering was extended even more. Research Shows Brazil as #1 in Ranking of Deaths Linked to Football

Maurício Murad, sociologist and professor from UFRJ (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro), shows that in the past 10 years, 42 football fans were killed in Brazil in fights around or inside stadiums. The source of his ranking are media and police reports made between 1999 and 2008. In the past 5 years, death rates increased to 5.

The Evolution of Brazil’s Kit

Great visual recap of all kits used by Brazil since 1914. The kit in the picture was used in 1945. The highlight goes to the red jersey used in the 1917 South American Championship.

The reason? At the time, Brazil, Chile and Uruguay played in white and there was no away jersey. Before the match Brazil - Chile, the side to wear a different color was randomly chosen, and the only jersey available was red.

Yeah! Hugh Jackman, while visiting Brazil to promote Wolverine, stopped by Corinthians' practice (and he twittered about it) to say hi to the players and meet Ronaldo. He took home a Corinthians shirt with and X and named "Wolverine". The Australian even said he wanted to be Ronaldo when he grew up!
