Wow!!!
I know that I haven't been to all of the great football stadiums of Europe, very few as a matter
of fact, but I have a hard time believing that there possibly could be a better place to watch a
football match in the world than Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. I was blown away.
Now, to be sure, the experience could have been much greater.

I didn't count them all but I'd guesstimate that Bilbao has roughly a thousand bars which are all -
almost without exception - absolutely fantastic. Their two line metro system is easy to negotiate
and I almost need to do a wee of excitement at this juncture when I tell you; they also have four
football stadiums within 12 metro stops: Athletic Bilbao (San Mames), Portugalete (Portugalete),
Sestao River Club (Sestao) and our new favourite team Barkaldo (Barkaldo).

Following on from the wild success of the EFW Gallery Part 1 & 2, I'm overjoyed to unveil the 3rd
part of the trilogy today. This is the part of the site whereby you and I photograph the EFW logo
not only in our favourite football stadiums but also with *cough* A-list celebrities.

Getting up to a bit of harmless mischief in football stadiums is actually written on my curriculum
vitae. So with that in mind - on the morning of this 'El Clasico' derby - I thought I'd take a
stroll up to the Jose Rico Perez Stadium and play to my strengths.

I'm not sure who was more surprised to be sitting at Wembley on this breezy, overcast Sunday
afternoon. The 20,000 Cambridge United fans of whom even the most optimistic must have thought
they'd blown their chances of promotion into the Football League after goosing up their Play Off
Semi Final 1st leg (losing 3-1 to Stevenage) or myself.

As the last World Cup hosts, Germany unsurprisingly have an array of impressive stadiums. There
are no fewer than 11 football stadiums with a capacity of at least 50,000, 10 of which are called
home by Bundesliga clubs.
This is compared to only four English football grounds, including Wembley, to have a capacity
above 50,000.

Click here for Part 1. Intro: After a severe bout of curiosity resulting in far too much time
perusing the internets, we finally came upon a conclusive list of Europe's Elite football stadiums
- UEFA's codeword for the ability to hold a Champions League final. We contacted Bill of Bill's
Sports Maps to have him make [.

You will see that only 2 out of the top 10 are in Europe. I'm sure that when reading the title you
would have thought the rest of the world doesn't have 100k or over stadiums. Or at least, not that
many.

...to make Old Trafford be like this again? Realistically, what are the options to allow Old
Trafford to return to the noise levels of a Jumbo Jet taking off? All football stadiums are
quieter, and even the Liverpool Echo conceded last season that the home of the 'best fans in the
World' was dead last season [.

SPURS have today announced plans to build a new stadium in the North East, after it was revealed
most of their team were on the verge of moving to Sunderland. Chairman Daniel Levy told boss Juande
Ramos they might as well just fucking move if he couldn't persuade his players to stay in North
London.

The absence of quality football stadiums has again been highlighted by the examples of two clubs
based in and around Jakarta.
Persita Tangerang's Benteng Stadium was deemed inadequate for Super League football and, being
unable to do anything for themselves (even their coach lacks the necessary license) they have been
told to play their first two games bloody miles away.

It's one of the oldest and most historic football grounds in the world. It has hosted the FA Cup
Final and a World Cup Semi-Final, but its future looks bleak. If Everton Football Club moves to
Kirkby, then Everton's Goodison Park that they've been in since 1892 will be no more. When you have
a couple [.

Football stadiums can do bizarre things to people's minds sometimes. For example, I don't want
Fulham to be relegated. It has nothing to do with the fact that they have several American players.
Nor does it have anything to do with an admiration for the pleasing style of football that their
players employ.

Obviously this picture doesn't show the point I'm trying to make. I just had to use for it
aesthetic purposes, so I hope you don't mind. In all seriousness though, if you're watching the
Champions League semifinal first leg between Barcelona and Manchester United at the Camp Nou right
now, take a look at the center [.
