This is supposedly the new Nike USA home shirt, due out next year. What do you think? Good? Bad? Real? Fake?

I need to digest this for a bit before passing judgment. I think this was the site that leaked the last set of jerseys, and they turned out to be the real deal.

I can actually understand why FIFA might be a bit touchy about emblems on shirts.

They've got it wrong before.

For example, in the 1934 FIFA World Cup tournament the Italian team (who won both that competition and went on to win in France in 1938) wore the Fascist symbol on their shirts: it's clearly visible on the official tournament poster and TOFFS are still making and selling that particular shirt.

The FIFA World Cup Qualification had just announced the draw for the Asians football teams. Timor Leste were put against Nepal, the Himalayas Nation. Nepal whose rank only 172 ; meanwhile, Timor Leste only rank 201.

The first leg of this tournament will be at in Kathmandu, Nepal which have 42 degrees in temperature.

Here's a leaked pic of Brazil's new Nike home shirt (Via Football Shirt Culture), which the South Americans will wear against France in a Nike-approved friendly on 9th February 2011 (as we told you a couple of weeks ago, that's also when the French will debut their ridonkulously expensive new Nike uniform).

After France's embarrassing exit from last summer's World Cup, their Football Federation has replaced the manager, much of the roster and now their kits. After many years of Adidas' wildly-striped designs, new supplier Nike has introduced a severely sparse shirt. The just-bleu shirt follows a trend toward yesteryear led by Umbro, itself a Nike subsidiary.

This is France's first ever Nike kit, which can lay claim to being the most expensive football kit of all time. It cost Nike around €300m (€42m per year until 2018) to buy the rights (previously held by Adidas) to dress the French team with a swoosh (several swooshes actually).
