Hughes, We Have A Problem (Birmingham v Man City)

EPL Talk 01 November @ 09:20 PM EST

CSKA Moscow 0-1 Manchester United - Goals - 21 October 2009

SoccerLens 21 October @ 02:09 PM EST

Manchester United produced an efficient and controlled performance at the Luzhniki Stadium to beak CSKA Moscow 1-0. Injuries, weather and a plastic playing pitch meant that United were always going to play controlled rather than expansive football, but all the players did their jobs well (with Fabio particularly impressing from full-back).

SoccerLens 20 October @ 07:17 AM EST

So how do you smuggle a Liverpool beach ball into Anfield when they're specifically searching fans to 'confiscate' these types of items?

That's the conundrum facing Manchester United fans as they prepare to travel to Anfield this weekend.

And it's not just United fans. Liverpool are unlikely to be allowed to forget the beach-ball episode in a hurry with rival fans from other clubs also reportedly 'stocking' up on the beach balls, which could mean a season long 'search' at turnstiles for beach balls.

Aston Villa 2-1 Chelsea - 17 October 2009 - Goals

SoccerLens 17 October @ 10:08 AM EST

Aston Villa overturned the odds and the form book to beat Chelsea 2-1 after going a goal down early in the game. It was Chelsea's second away defeat and the shoddy defending on display will certainly raise questions at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea had taken the lead when Brad Friedel failed to deal with a long-range effort from Didier Drogba, but they failed to capitalise and conceded goals from set plays either side of half time.
