Aww, look at him in his little hat! And Archie too! Image via Jack's Twitter.
Some serious football fixtures demand our attention this weekend, Kickettes. Before settling
down at the foot of our nacho mountain to watch the manhose unfold, we prepared this little
round-up of the stuff that occurred in between our unscheduled naps.

It's pretty damn parky over in France at the moment, with freezing temperatures (we're talking
-13ºC in places) threatening to disrupt the weekend's football fixtures not that Saint-Etienne
'keeper Jeremie Janot is remotely fussed, for Monsieur Janot has devised a fool-proof method to
beat the cold snap as a game ticks over into it's latter stages.

Football betting can be a great investment or a waste of money, with an ever-increasing number
of people deeming themselves football experts and putting their money where their mouth is on a
daily or weekly basis, only to see their hard-earned cash taken from them.
Got, Not Got: Fags + coded football fixtures = marketing genius, '60s
style...
It's been labelled "football porn" for "nostalgia addicts", and "a major contribution to
football history". 'Got, Not Got' is this Xmas's must-have football nostalgia book... Thanks go out
to Man City lifer Graham Aldred of Stockport for sending us this incredible chunk of 1960s-style
complementary marketing, which flogs industrial-strength ciggies alongside high sporting
ideals.
The feeling is as sudden as it is long-drawn. One morning, after wiping the Sandman-goo from
your bleary eyes, you move towards your study desk to find out which new subject is going to go
clickety-click with its pincers in dangerous vicinity of your genital area, when you realize that
you've already burnt all books and you have no genital area left to go clickety-click at.
Obviously the best way to watch a Spurs game, is to be there, next up, is watching it on the TV in
the pub, failing that, we hit the web to find a dodgy egyptian feed in the hope the quality is
actually good enough to work out what team is what, let alone see the entire match. However, there
is another option.
Brazil vs Ghana was a thrilling clash of cultures and philosophies just a shame none of
it was on the pitch
If I were to describe the difference between a football match in the UK and a baseball or ice
hockey game in the United States, the word I'd use is ‘energy.

Football fixtures day.
The day the SPL fixture list for 2011/12 is announced. The SFL schedule is coming out as well.
Who'll try to party poop as Rangers, Dunfermline, Livingston and Arbroath unfurl their championship
flags?
When will the derbies of Edinburgh and Glasgow be scheduled?
I grew up as a football loving boy in a sports mad family in England. I dreamt of playing for
England in most of the major sports but it was always the dream of playing football for England
that I would return to. This has been the staple image of young football fans in England and around
the world for decades but there is a feeling that I can't escape that things are changing
dramatically.
With the latest bout of bad weather once again hitting the fixture list up and down the country
over the weekend many unfortunate football fans from the lower leagues (and particularly north of
the border) have once again been hit by the devastating prospect of facing up to a painful and
boring weekend without being able to watch their beloved teams in action.
On February 2, 2007, Palermo traveled to Catania's Stadio Angelo Massimino for a Sicilian derby
that unfortunately changed football throughout Italy.
The fixture commenced without Palermo supporters in the stands. They were not able to get into
the stadium until the start of the second half.
Just been checking the Malaysian football fixtures, Super league, Premier League and FA Cup on
Malaysian Football and I'm seeing, hidden among the usual 8.45 a sprinkling of earlier kick
offs.
Really? Cool...a decent kick off time allowing people like me to get home after the game without
having to deal with them fiends from hell the Malaysian Taxi Driver.
