The 12 most annoying football clichés - originally posted on Soccerlens.com
We all love talking about football, with the latest matches, transfers and events dominating the
train of thought and sparking debate on a daily basis. From the highest echelon of football
commentators, journalists and even the players and managers themselves, down to the man in the pub,
anything can be explained and justified with a well-rehearsed and used-to-death cliché.
EA Sports have released a new video featuring an interview with football commentators Martin Tyler
and Alan Smith. Both commentators will be the voices of FIFA 12. The video shows Tyler and Smith

They say that ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder', and after a small eternity of not seeing
the mighty Arse play, I cannot wait for the new season to start. Simply seeing our players on a
green pitch again during recent friendly games, made me realise how much I've really missed our
team over the last few months.
The Football Supporters' Federation has launched a petition – visit
www.fsf.org.uk/safestanding as part of our campaign for the introduction of safe standing areas in

lowly Osasuna on Sunday evening leaving Jose Mourinho's men seven points adrift of table-toppers
Barcelona...
The winner came courtesy of Javier Camunas whose driven shot in the 62nd minute eluded Madrid
shot-stopper Iker Casillas and crept in off the post in a tight encounter at the Estadio Reyno de
Navarra.
Foot in mouth is not a new concept With Andy Gray, Richard Keys and Andy Burton all currently
lolling around in a pub near the Sky Sports studios (no doubt letching at the barmaids, poring over
page three of the Sun), we thought it was about time to give them something to lift their spirits:

Hi Guys, finally back home after a week out & again thanks for your patience as updating was not an
easy task at all. Italian press surprised Everyone was surprised yesterday at the announcement of
LIONEL MESSI as the 2010 FIFA GOLDEN BALL winner. The reactions have been "negative" from many
local Spanish Football commentators as they believed the XAVI & INIESTA had more merit for their
