Portland Timbers Quotes
Head Coach John Spencer
On the result:
"First 15 to 20 minutes we're a little under the crush they started pretty well coming from a 97
minute game against Revolution; fantastic performance to have to come back and pushed us back,
started well.
The Philly Soccer Page " MacMath: "They wanted to tell me I was ready."
At a conference call Monday afternoon, Zac MacMath talked to reporters about his first half in
MLS, how he found out he was going in, and what he needs to do to help the team reach the
playoffs.
The DOOP we never took | Union Dues
Well, we came up short again in Salt Lake.
I hate tryouts. I've always hated tryouts. Kids are stressed. Parents are stressed. Coaches are
stressed. Some of it reasonable, some of it not. In some areas with large programs, it amazes me
the intrigue and drama that goes on with the 'B' teams and the accusations (sometimes valid,
sometimes not) of clubs considering things other than skill in their evaluations.
In the end, she couldn't leave without one final sideswipe. Stephanie Booth, whose attempts to
take control of Wrexham Football Club or, perhaps, just The Racecourse Ground have been

statement which invites, as so many of her previous press statements have, more questions than
answers.

pre-game show at 3:30, which will be followed by a 4:00 kickoff.

Let me be the first to say, boy am I glad the Union are back in action. It's been a long winter,
between the Eagles flaming out of the NFL playoffs, the NFL lockout, the Sixers starting off poorly
(though now poised for a playoff run) and the Flyers early season form completely stalled.
From the fingers of Jersha:
We are a few days away from watching our Philadelphia Union's first kick in Houston, and a
little over one week away from our home opener and first tailgate of the 2011 season. As our
tailgate crew works diligently behind the scenes, our ‘Stache Bash crew has been working hard
finalizing everything for the Bash.
