scoreless draw Monday night with Honduras in each team's opening game of the 2011 Gold Cup despite
going down to nine men.
Ruiz, who went ninety minutes, did not enjoy many chances on goal himself but was able to create
some chances for other players, such as the Chicago Fire's Marco Pappa.
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Wednesday completed D.C. United's first week in South Florida, and it
also marked Charlie Davies' seventh day with the club as he looks to land a season-long loan
deal.
Davies, along with most of the team's top players, did not play in Wednesday afternoon's 4-0
victory over Florida International University in a 60-minute friendly, but head coach Ben Olsen did
touch on Davies' near-week trial with the club following the game.
On a wet and stormy evening, the two hundred eighty-two stalwart fans who came out for the first
day of the Dafedecker Classic at USF Soccer Stadium watched 220 minutes of soccer without seeing a
single goal.
The first match of the double header saw UCF and LSU play forty-five scoreless minutes before a
nearly two hour delay due to weather.
South Florida will try to continue their home form tonight against FIU. USF (1-1-0) is undefeated
in two exhibitions and one regular season match at the USF Soccer Stadium. The Bulls lost on the
road this past Sunday to the top ten ranked Gators.
Isiah Thomas is arguably the greatest basketball player ever at 6'0" or shorter, and was regarded
for his toughness as the point guard and leader of the NBA Detroit Pistons. He was the leader of
the 'Bad Boys' era in Detroit, and was nicknamed 'snake' because of his toughness and sharp tongue
with his teammates.
The Blues are getting ready for this season in full stride and will meet the NY Red Bulls. But
first check them out at FIU Stadium tomorrow Saturday at 10 am Check it out!

going to ask Hulk if it ok if Burrito marry her and then we have little Hogan Burritos!
It's getting old folks, the losing is getting old. First the Portland game on Saturday where the
Blues lost 3-1 and then it seemed we would bring back a point from Vancouver but with only 10
minutes left Miami conceded a goal followed by another a few minutes later that sealed our fate and
might keep us away from the playoffs for yet another season.
Yes folks Hulkamania is alive and well! His opponent you ask? He will be wrestling your Property
Tax!
Saturday, Sept. 5th Miami FC will play against the Austin Aztex @ FIU Stadium (Season Finale at
FIU) There will be a Powerade Pre-Game Parade, Celebrity/Media Game (Uncle Ed will be playing!) and
Hulk Hogan!
Hola Amigos y Amigas! Today Burrito want to say how much he enjoy seeing the hot cheerleaders at

The Miami FC/FIU Cheerleaders need your helps since FIU cut their program dinero, you can help by
buying Miami FC tickets from them or buying their calendar.
Si, ugly peoples from Canada come back to Miami to lose again! If it not enough these pinches
Canadians can't even get along with themselves and fight between each other! Why? Maybe it's too
cold in Canada? Maybe they tired of being called America's Hat? Burrito don't know and no care.
All Burrito know is that the Blues need to wins and get the three points.
Miami's FIU Stadium would be the likelyhome of any MLS team.
Thought it was all over for Miami when Barcelona withdrew their bid? Maybe, but maybe not....

'Summer of Soccer' which began on June 20. Attendance: 252,914. All games, except the Timbers
friendly, were part of entities owned or marketed by Soccer United Marketing(SUM).
Miami FC Defender #6 Zourab Tsiskaridze best known to fans as "Zee" is said to have saved a child
from drowning. No details are known about the incident but we'll get you the full scoop. This
proves Zee is a hero on and off the field. He's also a good free kicker and has already scored for
the Blues.
Who said Miami was not a soccer town? You see games being played all over South Florida, but fans
are known to be fickle and demanding when it comes to watching a game live. Well, this weekend they
get a little of everything! Friday, Saturday and Sunday will have what I call "A little Soccer
Heaven"!
This Season it seems everything that has to do with Miami FC is late. The team almost folded due to
MLS and we didn't know until the last minute it would survive. Therefore the team was organized at
the last minute and so to continue with that trend this season the new Miami FC jersey finally came
out in time for the July 4th game against the Puerto Rico Islanders.
The Blues played 2 great games away at the Cleveland City Stars. First Miami FC came away with a
2-1 victory on Thursday June 18th. I saw the game at Fritz & Franz and had a great time with a
couple of the players and the Ultras. We were down 1-0 but the Blues recovered Leo Inacio Nunes
scored off a precise shot that found the inside of the bottom right post, tying the score 1-1.
Miami FC will play Lynch's FC in the first round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at Tropical Park,
this Tuesday, June 9th at 8pm. This game will be FREE so let's fill up Tropical Park!
A source close to the Blues tells us Coach Zinho is going with an all out offensive team.
Lynch's FC recently lost defender Nurdin Hrustic who will be playing with VfL Bochum of the
Bundesliga.

Miami FC remain undefeated after last nights victory over the Montreal Impact by 2-1 on goals by
Serna (penalty) and Leo Inacio. Gjertsen scored for Montreal.
The Miami Herald reports a very low attendance but there must be a mistake, it looked like at least
3 thousand out there as Miami FC played for the first time at FIU stadium.
Ladies and Gentlemen we are only a day away from the first match in FIU stadium taking place
tomorrow April 24, 2008 at 8 pm between the Montreal Impact and our very own Miami FC.
Last week we saw a rowdy crowd at Lockhart Stadium see the "Blues" defeat the Cleveland City Stars
by 3-1 thanks to a masterful display of skills from veteran forward Diego Serna who scored and
provided two assist so be names the USL player of the week!
Burrito want Miami Ultras and Southern Legion to learn and sing this song for the Miami FC vs
Montreal Impact game this Friday!
Vamos Miami! Lets show them putos they come to Miami to lose!
Blame Canada, Blame Canada
It seems that everythings gone wrong
since Canada came along,
blame Canada, blame Canada
They're not even a real country anyway!
As mentioned over on the Miami Ultras site, Simon Evans of Reuters wrote a great blog about his
experience at Lockhart Stadium on Saturday. Simon refers to the ambiance at the game:
"It was noisy and fun. It was a proper football crowd and much as I enjoy the NFL and
NBA experience I didn't miss the loud musical interludes, the cheerleaders or the constant
time-outs.
Hola Miami FC Fans!
(Click on highlighted words if you don't know the meaning of the word)
Some of you carnales might remember "The Burrito Report" back in the days of the Miami Fusion on
Bigsoccer (Burrito has since been banned from Bigsoccer with a Red Cards... pinches putos!) and on
the South Florida strikers forum (Now the Miami FC supporters forum).
My voice is still recovering from all the yelling after Miami FC's victory over the Cleveland City
Stars this past Saturday. I'm still excited that our players did such a good job. They really made
us proud!
In our effort to keep people informed and updated on everything Miami FC, Pieter Brown president of
the Miami Ultras, Miguel Mejia, Star Trek fan and master of all things football and yours truly
(Uncle Ed) decided to continue Pieter's creation, a weekly podcast that we hope everyone will
enjoy.
This Saturday 4th of July ***Free beer at the Ultras Tailgate 6 pm, free parking, Fireworks, naked
women! (OK, no naked women) But it will be Miami FC vs Puerto Rico Islanders at FIU stadium 8
pm***
Miami FC returns home to play the now traditional Fourth of July game against the first place
Puerto Rico Islanders.
"We couldn't be happier to play in the two most appropriate, fan-friendly stadiums in South
Florida.'' So said Miami FC President Aaron Davidson in an interview in yesterdays Miami
Herald.
Davidson is referring to the fact that Miami FC will be playing at both FIU Stadium and Broward's
Lockhart Stadium this year and quite possibly Tropical Park as well.
For the second straight week, the top teams in the nation suffered through some shocking upset
defeats.
In its penultimate game of the regular season, top-ranked Maryland lost to Clemson, 2-1. The
Terps had a man advantage for much of the match, but Clemson was able to exploit the makeshift back
line Maryland used, scoring twice in the second half to win the game.
Today I'd like to reach out to the soccer community for a noble cause. Our good friends at Soccer 5
at Kendall Soccer Park are helping out Jasmine Aleman from FIU and her fellow students who are
putting on a tournament at Soccer 5 in order to raise funds for a life saving operation for a close
friend at FIU who was injured in a horrific car accident.
