I spent some time with Jeremy Alumbaugh, Director of the Springfield SC for the past six years. For
those who missed the earlier announcement, Alumbaugh is headed for Collinsville IL where he is now
responsible for the St Louis Scott Gallagher Metro Academy U18 team.

Another large group came out this afternoon at Lake Country Soccer for the annual Springfield SC
Alumni game. A good way for current college players to get a work out, there was also a nice group
of graduates including Wade Luethy and Jake Luria from Glendale, Patrick Carver and Brian Fishback
from Parkview and Michael Bennett from Kickapoo.

of the box and netting the goal in the 72nd minute off a player deflection following a corner kick
by junior Danielle Dahm.

An important win for the Miner's Friday night at home as senior Corey Bailey (Olathe) pairs with
Mario Calderon to 'make a play' in the words of Coach Joe Ahearn.
Congratulations to Brian Fishback (Parkview 2005) who added to his personal hardware this week,
being named to the 2nd Team All-Region squad. Brian, like his close friend and former teammate
Patrick Carver, is also a product of the MedPay/Springfield SC, Springfield Demize and Parkview
Vikings. There's one play in the video of the SSC vs Busch game I posted yesterday that has stuck
in my mind since that date.
