I wrote yesterday that Fabio Capello And FA were set for a fireworks meeting today with neither
site apparently ready to concede ground over John Terry.
Well after meeting today, it became apparent that the two sides could no longer work together
and the FA has announced that Fabio Capello has stepped down as England manager.

No doubt you've already seen the horrendous footage of Al Masry fans storming the pitch to attack
Al Ahly players and supporters. In case you haven't, it's in the video above. Absolute carnage
broke out when Al Masry secured a 3-1 victory over their fierce rivals. The home fans many of them
armed [.
While it's possible something else wiggled through the window, it appears Edson Buddle rejoining
L.A. and Charles Renken heading to the Portland Timbers will stand as our late fireworks. As I was
informed to be likely, the DaMarcus Beasley move to Nancy did not come off, most likely because
Puebla execs are too busy trying not to go to jail.
The recent resurgence of Inter in the Serie A and Milan's status as defending champions are nicely
setting up what should be an intense and fiercely fought Milan derby on Monday. Of course,
fireworks are always expected whenever these two sides meet at the San Siro. But, with the
Nerazzurri desperate to continue their climb [.

AZ Alkmaar's Dutch Cup match with Ajax pitted two of the Netherlands' top teams against each
other and figured to produce some fireworks. Just not like this.
With Ajax leading 1-0 in the 36th minute, a fan raced from the stands at Amsterdam ArenA and
went after AZ goalkeeper Esteban, who defended himself by kicking the fan on the ground.

Key: actual size
You could've been forgiven for thinking that yesterday's Club World Cup final between Barcelona
and Santos was some kind of two-man earthworm-charming contest the way 'You Know Who A' and 'You
Know Who B' were mercilessly hyped before kick-off, but it proved that young Neymar spent a dismal
afternoon in Lionel Messi's shadow as Barca rolled over Brazil's finest in Yokohama.
Got, Not Got: Mark Hateley magnetic marble refuses to play the game
Not only was Mark Hateley's dad the subject of the finest ever punk-rock football song "Where
Have You Been Lately, Tony Hateley", by the Disco Zombies the towering, bemulleted centre-fireworks
also carved quite a career in his own right.
Luis Suarez' future hasn't been decided yet, but with a ruling expected later in the day it
might not be long now, and in the meantime new details from the case and Patrice Evra's racism
charges begin to come out. Plus Liverpool lose out on a potential transfer target who was never
really a potential transfer target, and there's good news to share when it comes to Steven
Gerrard's groin and the man it's attached to.

At 6-0 the Wave have reason to celebrate.
The Milwaukee Wave showed the Rochester Lancers exactly what it means to take on the defending MISL
champions. The Wave trounced the Lancers 24-9 after a hotly contested 1st quarter that saw a
monstrous eight goals.

Zlatan, in a bit of self-promotion stop it for his new book, did an interview with Gazzetta
which was published this morning. It doesn't disappoint. The Fiver offers a few excerpts, while the

He, Mourinho and Balotelli should probably have a talkshow when all is said and done.

Presenting, Mario 'I'm happy when I'm sensible' Balotelli's first act as head of Firework Safety
an informative pamphlet on Bonfire Night dos and don't that he definitely penned himself most
likely had absolutely nothing to do with.
Still, it's all for a good cause no-one likes their night being interrupted by a trip to A&E to
graft little Johnny's eyelids back on.
Last week George got 4 results right and no perfect scores, but expect some fireworks this

As one of football premier characters, this is going to be Mario Balotelli's career. The
Edenbridge Bonfire Society, a group comprised of bonfire enthusiasts, one would assume, had to
decide upon a subject whose effigy would be worthy of a bonfire. Mario's behavioral issues and
bathroom shenanigans took care of the rest of the process.
Just read this article from the Thackley website, Looks like they are looking forward to our visit
on Saturday.Expect fireworks (of the legal and enjoyable kind) as the Seadogs hope to rocket
up the league and the Dennyboys look to avoid a damp squib.Whilst there is still the League Cup
to play for, the mantra of "concentrating on the league" is perhaps uppermost in Thackley minds as
they look forward to entertaining Scarborough Athletic on Saturday.

Bonfire Society, a bonfire society with their fingers on the pulse, have chosen to burn a 30-foot

Oh Mario, you are a character aren't you? Whether it's throwing darts at youth team players or
speeding in your Maserati, picking up countless tickets and fines along the way, it's setting off
fireworks in your own house, sneaking into a women's prison due to ‘curiosity' or even proving to
be the good samaritan, aiding a bullied child who was at a Manchester City training session when he
should have been at school.

The ubiquitous Mario Balotelli is the latest star to feature in these bizarre videos produced by

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli took the time out to answer a host of questions via twitter
and managed to once again add to his growing list of admirers Balotelli has become the
man-of-the-moment following his fabulous performance during Manchester City's 6-1 hammering of
neighbours Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

It's so ironic, it simply must be fattening!
As we creep toward Bonfire Night and stupid children start dreaming about doing stupid things
with over-the-counter explosives, Man City have started a club campaign called TREACLE to promote
firework safety this November and who better to front that campaign than a man who nearly lost
everything (on his towel rack) at the weekend in a fireworks-related house fire?
Don't get your hands burnt like Mario Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has predictably been
signed up to front a firework safety campaign ahead of Bonfire Night. The 21-year-old made the
headlines at the weekend when the fire service had to attend his Cheshire mansion to put out a
serious blaze started by a firework [.
The most talked about Premiership player get talked about again! This time Nicholas Spiller sticks
his oar in... The young man knows how to set fires, as evidenced by his recent escapade involving
fireworks and his home bathroom. Mario Balotelli also knows how to light up the scoreboard on the
pitch.
