No Guarantees, Please

Soccer Tickets Online 26 September @ 07:00 AM EST

Guarantees just aren't what they used to be. Back in the day a guarantee was something extraordinarily, spectacular: A sacred declaration of one team's predicted dominance over another. It was something that got fans to pay close attention to an event even if the game didn't fascinate them.

Transfer Rumors (1 September 09): Tottenham sign Pompey’s Kranjcar, Everton land Dutch star Heitinga, Aston Villa made to wait on Man City’s Dunne, and more

SoccerLens 01 September @ 03:00 PM EST

Unlike last year, when summer transfer deadline day saw some records broken and millions upon millions of pounds change hands, things were a lot quieter this time around.

But as always, it's just as much about who didn't move as it is about who did move, and there were plenty of misses to go with the hits.

Wigan’s Hendry Thomas: A Player to Watch

Wigan: Are You Arsenal in Disguise?

Never Captain Nicky Butt 11 August @ 08:08 PM EST
Roberto Martinez's Wigan will actually play football, not rugby this season
They play in a rugby stadium (no longer called the JJB by the way), and over the past few years they've played some pretty no-nonsense, direct football. Some pretty boring stuff. Very boring in fact. I'm a football addict but even I look to avoid Wigan matches on the tele at all costs. Click to continue reading...

El Por Qué El Tottenham Debe Fichar A Niko Kranjčar

Premier Fever 17 June @ 06:13 PM EST
Autor: Juan Figueroa.
