Well folks, you may have noticed a total lack of new content around here. My wife and I welcomed
twins into the family at the end of September and sleep deprivation has ensued. So, blog is not
getting a lot of attention.
But I do want to call your attention to this, the US U-17 Men kick off their World Cup in about an
hour and 15 minutes, at 1 pm central time.

ESPN360.com and Galavision. Tune in to see how the next generation of U.S. players fares against
European powerhouse Spain.

Brent Latham from ESPN Soccernet checks in with a story on the U.S. U-17 team for the upcoming FIFA
U-17 World Cup in Nigeria. A good portion of the team the U.S. is taking to Africa played here at
our Swope Park Training Center last week, falling to a team made mostly of KCW Reserves 3-0.
In full national team news, Jermaine Jones has been cleared by FIFA to play for the United States
after initially representing Germany in three friendlies.

With tomorrow's World Cup qualifier back on cable TV, we will once again be able to host watch
parties at both area 810 Zone locations as the USA looks to win the CONCACAF qualifying group with
a win over Costa Rica. The match kicks off at 7 p.m. CT tomorrow night from Washington D.C. and
will be broadcast live nationally on ESPN2 and Galavision.

While most of the news these days is about David Beckham's return to MLS, the US' performance in
the Gold Cup and MLS' drop in attendance, I'd like to remind everyone that we still have the U-17
