Since Bacary Sagna's statement last week that he is open to PSG, Monaco or any other offer this summer has made it clear that he has not entered into talks with Arsenal over a contract extension, which seems to point to the fact that he will definitely be leaving at the end of the season.
So, as Arsenal are likely to be in the market for a talented right-back, the Mail reports that the Gunners scouts have been looking around for his replacement, and the two top targets are said to be the Polish international Lukasz Piszczek, who is currently playing for Dortmund, and the Feyenoord right-back Daryl Janmaat, who has recently become a regular in the Dutch national team.
Ryo Miyaichi has been an Arsenal player for over two years now, but he is still waiting to make his Premier League debut for the club. The 20-year old is well on the road to recovery after picking up an ankle injury during his recent loan spell at Wigan Athletic. The Japanese international is hoping to be fit enough to take part in the pre-season training and tours with Arsenal and finally force himself into first team contention.
I know that some Arsenal fans have found it hard to be too angry with the former Gunner Robin van Persie. After eight years without a trophy they could understand that he wanted to move to Manchester United to win some silverware. The Dutchman has previously professed his love for Arsenal. the fans and Arsene Wenger as he tried to restrict the bad feeling of Gooners towards him.
It seems as if Arsenal fans will have to wait even longer to see the talents of Ryo Miyaichi on display at the Emirates Stadium. If the player dubbed the Japanese Messi does not start having better luck, he may never make it as a Gunner, because he suffered another blow today on his return from injury.
Although it's only March and the transfer window is far away from being opened the transfer rumours continue to come out from all aspects of media. Most of the time, they are pure rubbish however one that has been consistent for the last few days has really caught my eye.
Arsenal are being linked with two more players in the papers today, but neither is the kind of big name signing that the fans are hoping to see in the summer. One is a 6ft 4in Danish striker, but don't worry it is not Bendy. 19-year old Andreas Cornelius plays for FC Copenhagen and has been pretty impressive this season, scoring 14 league goals in 20 games.
Maybe we are about to see a new side of Arsene Wenger. First the mild-mannered Arsenal boss gives a few journalists a bit of a savaging, and now he insists that he is in charge and it is up to him whether a player is allowed to leave or not. Whatever next? Telling Nicklas Bendtner that he is NOT the greatest striker in the world, maybe, or pointing out to Gervinho that the idea is to get the round thing to one of your team mates or into the back of the net?
The Arsenal defender Johan Djourou has been a Gunner for his whole career, apart from a loan spell at Birmingham City, but it looks like that could be coming to an end. There was talk of the Swiss international defender moving on this summer, with a few Serie A clubs interested, but Arsene Wenger assured the 25-year old that there was still a role for him at the Emirates.
"Oh man...that sign's like...so big and GREEN man..."
ADO Den Haag spanked Feyenoord 2-0 in the Eredivisie last weekend but that wasn't nearly as heavy as things were getting in the terraces.
According to reports emanating out of Dutchland, 16 ADO fans had to be taken to hospital during the game after falling ill and passing out in the stands.

Quality full-backs are a real rarity in world football.
Feyenoord have just signed a new shirt sponsorship deal with theDiergaarde Blijdorp zoo in Rotterdam and to announce the deal the pair have produced the following advert, tracking the eternal love affair between Feyenoord hero (and current assistant coach) Giovanni van Bronckhorst and a stuffed elephant named Oli all set to club anthem 'You'll Never Walk Alone'.
Feyenoord beat PSV 2-1 at De Kuip over the weekend to whittle down Eindhoven's lead at the top of the Eredivisie to just three points, but it was the guff that followed the match which has gained the most attention.
Having already had a bit of a barney on the pitch during a tetchy match, PSV's Jeremaine Lens was caught on 'tunnel-cam' lurking at the top of the stairs for Joris Mathijsen to come in from the pitch and, after waiting for some time, Lens pounced on the Feyenoord centre-half, grabbing a handful of Mathijsen's shirt before a multi-man fracas ensued.
Ask a manager about the value of camaraderie and you could be there for a while. Ronald Koeman is no different, his situation unique to most, is common within the Netherlands, and even then it's different. No better demonstration this season and explicitly in Feyenoord's recent game against FC Twente.

Everton have agreed a deal to sign FC Twente midfielder Leroy Fer in the next 48 hours, for a fee thought to be in the region of £8.5 millions.
Everton to spend £8.5 million on Leroy Fer
The 23-year-old will travel to Meyseyside to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms with his transfer is expected to be completed before the transfer window closes on Thursday.
There was one minute left in extra time and Ronald Koeman started to prepare for the inevitable. He found what he was looking for, a notepad and pen, after collecting his thoughts he jotted down numbers one through five. Next to number one ‘Lex' was written, followed by a space, then letters I and M, before he could finish the surname, a loud roar erupted, looking up, Koeman saw Lex Immers – the very person that was going to take the penalty – wheel away in celebration, Feyenoord left it very late.

Graziano Pellè: Ladykiller, Goal Assassin is a post from: Just Football
The men in Heerenveen cheered, the women wept. The cause of this was standing on the pitch, hands to his face. When Feyenoord come to town to face local pride SC Heerenveen, Graziano Pellè won't be on the pitch.

Every league in world football has historic rivalries that are the highlights of each season. Spain has El Clasico, with Catalonian giants FC Barcelona squaring off against their eternal rivals, Real Madrid. Italy has the Derby della Madonnina, when cross-town rivals Inter Milan and AC Milan battle at the clubs' shared stadium, the San Siro.
New Feyenoord Home Kit 2012-13 is a post from: Just Football
They have long played second fiddle on the pitch to arch rivals Ajax, however, times may be changing with both teams neck and neck on equal points in 5th and 6th in the Eredivisie table. One thing is for sure, in today's hard fought 2-2 draw in de Klassieker at De Kuyp, Rotterdam is thatnew Feyenoord kit for the 2012-13 season was a lot slicker than the new Ajax away kit.
Oranje Wednesdays: Ajax struggling ahead of de Klassieker against old enemy Feyenoord is a post from: Just Football
October 24th is just another normal day in Rotterdam, but for some locals a poignant anniversary, one that will not be celebrated. It was on this day two years ago Feyenoord suffered their heaviest league defeat, a 10-0 mauling at the hands of PSV, in Eindhoven.

According to The Sun, Liverpool's manager Brendan Rodgers is highly interested in the Dutch center back Stefan de Vrij. de Vrij is only 20 years old and has already proven that he has a promising future ahead of himself.
Liverpool has joined Chelsea in the race to sign Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij. The 20-year-old centre back is out of contract at Feyenoord in 2014 and is unwilling to commit beyond that point despite holding the captain's armband at De Kuip, according to The Daily Mail. The paper goes on to claim that Liverpool are now on the trail of the player, with manager Brendan Rodgers in the market to add a centre back at Anfield.
Robin van Persie has had to wait a long time to call himself a champion, but just eight months at United was long enough to do the trick. When asked by the official site whether winning the league feels as good as he expected, he claims it feels even better.
Alas, news is filtering through to us that Feyenoord's home of 76 years, De Kuip (or "Stadion Feijenoord" to give it its proper name), is to be replaced in 2018 after the Dutch clubokay-edplans to begin building a new, larger 63,000-capacity stadium right next to the 46,000-capacity ground they currently inhabit.
Western Sydney Wanderers will take the field against Sydney FC in a front of a sold out crowd on the weekend.
And every football fan around Australia should take a peak.
If you want technique look no further than Alessandro Del Piero or the young Aussie Terry Antonis or check out former Feyenoord star Shinji Ono or Aussie Aaron Mooy if they take the park.
There are many things you expect to find on the shelves of charity shops in Berkshire. A postcard depicting a mid 70s Coleraine side is perhaps not one of them. However, I stumbled across this beauty over the weekend. (I should add that I did pass up the opportunity to purchase England's World Cup 82 theme: This Time (we'll do it right!
Diergaarde Blijdorp, a zoo in Rotterdam, is Feyenoord's new shirt sponsor and to mark the new partnership, they produced an ad starring Netherlands great and current Feyenoord assistant manager Gio van Bronckhorst. Set to club anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone," the story begins with a young Gio getting a stuffed elephant at the zoo.
Former Celtic and Bristol City midfielder Evander Sno had to spend Saturday night in hospital after suffering his second on-pitch heart attack in the space of two years while playing for Dutch side NEC against Feyenoord.
25-year old Sno sank to his knees after half-an-hour having felt a shock in his chest, which it turns out was actually the internal defibrillator he had fitted after suffering his first attack (during an Ajax reserve game in 2010) going off as the result of a small heart wobble.
