If the FA is looking for another example of how not to tackle, this should fill the void.
Returning to Besiktas after missing two months with an injury, Ricardo Quaresma earned a straight
red for his scissor tackle from behind on Mersin's Mustafa Keceli. That got him a ban for
Saturday's Istanbul derby against Fenerbahce.
There are all kinds of chaos almost every day ,on Turkish TV's and Turkish News Papers, about
Turkish football match-fixing scandal while Turkish Super League is going on.....
Jam packed fixture in the Turkish Super League, is very disturbing too...
There are games almost every day, in the league.
Lille forward Moussa Sow has spoken of his admiration for Liverpool, amidst rumours that the
25-year-old is thinking of leaving the French champions during the January transfer window.
Sow was the top scorer in Ligue 1 last season with 25 league goals as he helped his side win the
title but in recent weeks reports have suggested that he may look to leave and now the Senegal
international has spoken in glowing terms about Liverpool.
The second half of this player review now, looking at our players who were decent, but not great
this season so far, for several reason. We also look at our younger players who made their debuts
this term.
Santos' 2nd most meaningful contribution this season (after his goal at Chelsea, of course.
This is how tifo is made, in this case by ultras of Fenerbahçe in Turkey, honoring their

16 down, one week to go, before the short winter brake in the Turkish Super League...
Yes, it was fast and jam packed 16 rounds in the Turkish Super League...
After playing matches on the weekend and weekdays, Turkish Super League's first half will be over
after this Wendsday and Thursday.
The busy week ended with a change on top only with goal difference....
Galatasaray perhaps is the best team of the week, in my opinion....
They have beat, two important opponents in four days, last week...
Galatasaray scored six goals and only allowed only one goal.

It is only a matter of weeks since former Arsenal man Emmanuel Eboue was the subject of a rather
heated debate on Pies over his reaction to being pelted with bottles during a Galatasaray game
against Besiktas.
However, the rather unpredictable wing-back seems to have found his feet in the Turkish league,
netting his second superb goal in two games for Gala.
Sometimes I look at Nicolas Anelka and I just think what a waste.
Don't get me wrong, he has played for some of the biggest clubs in the world.
Arsenal, Real Madrid, Paris-Saint Germain, Liverpool and Bolton is quite an impressive list for any
footballer.
But he has also undermined and stained his career by playing for smaller clubs like Chelsea and
Manchester City.
After the week 13, in the Turkish Super League, we have a new top three in the standings!
While Fenerbahce and Galatasaray kept their place in the standing ,after Manisaspor could not win
away match in Mersin, Besiktas captured the second place after they beat Orduspor, Monday night in
Antalya, Turkey.
MANISASPOR KEEPER ILKER AVCIBAY.....
Before the week 12 , started, I have mentioned that week 12, will be wide open for surprise
scores and results before the weekend matches!
On Friday, The top team in Turkey, Fenerbahce, had a chance to open the gap with a win but they
draw against Genclerbirligi.

After being disappointed with Turkish National team not making the party in Europe, Turkish
football fans will focus the Turkish Super League once again...
The chaos in Turkish football since July of this year, did put a big damage on Turkish football and
Turkish National team.
In somewhat unfortunate timing (the U19s lost 3-2 just last night in Norway) video of the Young
Lions 4-1 win over Rosenborg at Villa Park has just been published. This home win was played on
November 2nd.
Graham Burke, who was missing last night through suspension, scored twice. Gary Gardner, who was
also missing last night as he's away with England U21s, and Michael Drennan grabbed a goal
apiece.
Qualification for the knock-out phases of the NextGen series will have to wait after Villa's
U19s failed to get a result in Norway, losing 3-2 to Rosenborg.
Derrick Williams cancelled out Ole Kristian Selnæs' 29th minute opener from a Samir Carruthers
corner in the 39th minute. Daniel Johnson sent the visitors into the break 2-1 ahead just minutes
later with a wicked shot from a tight angle.
We could say it was football, everyday, since Oct 26th to 0ct 31th in the Turkish Super
League...

irst, Over the weekend there was a huge earthquake in Van, Turkey area, I am very sad to see
people died in this earthquake .
It has been very tragic a couple of weeks for Turkey and Turkish people,,,
First it was Terrorists attacks by PKK terrorists organization now, earthquake.
Turkish Super League week 7, will take a start on Friday and end on Monday night...
In the week 6, Fenerbahce with winning in away match kept their form and won in Mersin.
Buyuksehir, Galatasaray, Orduspor, with winning, kept the pressure on top...
Besiktas losing against Kayserispor at home was the upset of the week 6!
It will be, back to Turkish Super League on Friday with Trabzonspor vs Ankaragucu match..
With a win against Ankaragucu at home could move Trabzonspor to second place with 11 points, before
the Saturday, Sunday matches.
There will be three matches on Saturday , four matches on Sunday and one match on Monday in the
week 6.
When was the last time we saw Istanbul big guns on top of the Turkish Super League together?
It has been long time!
At the end of week 5, before the National team break , Fenerbahce is in first place and Galatasaray
on second and Besiktas on Fourth. In between them there is another Istanbul minow Buyuksehirspor
who is on third place.
The Young Lions returned to NextGen Series action last week, hosting Fenerbahce at Villa Park in
an entertaining 4-0 romp. Samir Carruthers got no less than his early hard work deserved when he
opened the scoring, captain Gary Gardner doubled the lead from the spot.
Callum Robinson made it three after the break and Daniel Johnson capped a stunning breakaway with a
well taken goal to finish the Turks off.
In an attempt to promote a more nonviolent, family friendly atmosphere, the Turkish league has
banned male soccer fans from attending matches this past weekend. In their place, women and boys
under the age of 16 were allowed to cheer on their favorite clubs for free. To read more of the
story, click here.
Turkish Super League started twenty days ago and they already played four rounds in this short
period due to what happened in Turkish football scandal and TFF's uncertainty on some things!
With the new play- off system this season, teams really focussed on to be in top four at the end of
34 matches.
Still battling that PR campaign which involves ridding the public of the idea that Turkish
football is an abode of corruption and fan violence and a place where Felipe Melo celebrates
things, they've gone one better from the "women and children only as punishment" for crowd
misbehavior. So impressed were they by the atmosphere created by a soprano-heavy crowd, they've
decided to allow them in for free.

Take a lesson from Turkey, and ban blokes from Leeds v United
On Wednesday the Turkish Football Federation decided that only women and children would be
allowed in to watch Fenerbahce against Manisaspor after repeated crowd trouble from the home side.
More than 41,000 turned up to the Istanbul stadium, and according to reports it was sweetness,
light and sportsmanship all round: "It was such a fun and pleasant atmosphere," said Manisaspor's
Omer Aysan.

One of the great dribbling demons of the last 20 years, Augustine Azuka "Jay-Jay" Okocha made
his name in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt before cultivating his legendary status at
Fenerbahce, PSG, Bolton Wanderers , Qatar SC and finally, none other than Hull City.
In the week of the crowds Blessed are the meek, for they shall... we have two wonderful
examples of polar extremes from the very north and south of Europe. How convenient.
Because it's always ladies first, particularly in Turkey now, the above is the video from the
now infamous 'women and children only' match.
Men are pigs. Bullish, impatient, mindless, and above all selfish. It is why I only love women.
And apparently, so do the Turks. In an effort to punish clubs for crowd trouble while acknowledging
that such trouble comes from a small percentage of individuals, the Turkish Football Federation
proposed barring all males over the age of 12 from the stands as punishment.

This is an absolute winner for women and football! Last night, 41,663
women and children filled the stadium to watch Turkish side, Fenerbahce play
against Manisaspor. The Turkish Football Federation recently took up a decision to ban male
supporters from attending games following their acts of hooliganism against Shakhtar Donetsk.

The Turkish Football Federation launches its "broadside" against men
In Iran, women are banned from watching football matches. Jafar Panahi's "Offside" tells the
story of several young women who dress up as boys and try and sneak into a 2006 World Cup match
between Iran and Bahrain. It is a heartwarming and often comical tale of Iran's youth chafing at
the heavy handed social mores skewed against women which are laid down by the orthodox clergy.
It was ladies and children under-12 night in the Fenerbahce vs. Maispor game due to a ban on men
handed down by the Turkish FA due to a violent pitch invasion that occurred during a pre-season
friendly. Our friends at Soccerpolitics wrote a great analysis of the meaning behind the night's
events.

Turkish football authorities have pioneered a remarkable anti-hooliganism tactic: allowing only
women and children to watch a game. Initially after violence marred a Fenerbahce match authorities
had decided to ban all fans from two games. Then someone instead suggested only allowing certain
fans.
aufgebrummt [.

Mmmm, can you just smell the oestrogen? More than 41,000 women and children filled the Sukru
Saracoglu Stadium to watch Fenerbahce play against Manisapor last night, thanks to a pretty slick
sanction placed on the club by the Turkish FA as punishment for several recent spates of crowd
disturbance and supporter dickhead-ery
Originally, the powers that be ordered Fenerbahce to play their next two games behind closed
doors, though the ruling was altered before the Manisapor game to allow only women and children
under the age of 12 into the stadium to watch the match for free.
