QPR created the most buzz this transfer window completing the transfer of Nancy's highly rated

Federico Macheda's path with Manchester United's first team doesn't seem to cross again as after
experiencing a six month loan to Sampdoria last season, the Italian is walking in a pretty similar
road again in this second part of the season.
After tasting a rather bitter Serie A experience, this time Macheda isn't moving that far as he
is temporarily stayed with fellow premiership side, Queens Park Rangers, which the young striker
believes could be the perfect spot for him.
Federico Macheda has been confounding our corneas again, this time with a lime green/blue hoop
combo. Nice! Image: Scott Heavey/Getty Images.
The January transfer window has been flung open once again and after the excitement of last
year, we thought a reasonably thorough look at the early hip dip movers and rump shakers was
needed.
Federico Macheda's loan move to QPR was confirmed today ahead of his début against Norwich.
"There is a lot of competition at Manchester United, there are some very good strikers
there," Kiko said. "But I am still young and I need to get more experience in the Premier
League. I am here to train hard firstly and then I hope to play a big part in the games.

Manchester United striker Federico Macheda has officially joined QPR on-loan for the rest of the
season with Sir Alex Ferguson hoping his stint in London will have the same desired effect that
Danny Wellbeck's and Tom Cleverley's had when they were farmed out last season to Sunderland and
Wigan respectively.

Manchester United's 20 year old Italian striker Federico Macheda is 95% certain he'll be playing
the rest of the season on-loan at QPR after his agent confirmed United manager Sir Alex Ferguson
wants to keep the Italian in a United shirt despite a poor return since his season long loan at
Sampdoria where they were relegated into the Serie B.

Dimitar Berbatov was the Premier League's top scorer seven months ago and lifted a record
breaking 19th title with Manchester United. He has been fourth choice striker at the club this
season though, behind Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck and Javier Hernandez.
The club tried to sell the striker in the summer following his omission from the Champions
League final squad but the player wasn't having any of it, determined to stay on our books and
fight for his place and has behaved admirably since.

A day after Pep Guardiola said he had no plans of selling him, David Villa was lost to
injury.
Villa will be sidelined for approximately the next six months after fracturing his tibia in
Barcelona's 4-0 Club World Cup win over Al Sadd on Thursday.
Federico Macheda's agent Giovanni Bia has today claimed that the striker will be off on loan in
January when the transfer window opens.
After a disappointing time on loan with Sampdoria, Bia claims that the Italian striker won't be
returning to his homeland on loan again, but will probably accept one of the offers that has come
in for him.
Dimitar Berbatov has been ruled out of Manchester United's massive Champions League trip to
Basle leaving Sir Alex Ferguson with limited options up front.
After Javier Hernandez suffered an ankle injury at Aston Villa on Saturday that is set to rule
him out for a month, Ferguson expressed the hope Berbatov would have recovered from his own ankle
problem to make the flight to Switzerland.

Manchester United were extremely poor against an excellent Crystal Palace in the Carling Cup and
there must be serious questions now as to whether Darron Gibson, the Da Silva twins and Federico
Macheda are ever going to be good enough to be regulars at Old Trafford.
After wearing the captain's armband during Manchester United's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace in
last night's thrilling Carling Cup quarterfinal at Old Trafford, Jonny Evans realizes the amount of
pressure the team is under.
A spectacular long-range goal from Darren Ambrose was cancelled out by a Federico Macheda
penalty, which forced 30 minutes of extra time but the Red Devils still came up short courtesy of
Glenn Murray's decisive header.
Eagles flying high at Old Trafford Manchester United were knocked out of the Carling Cup last night
as Championship side Crystal Palace pulled off a shock win at Old Trafford. The Eagles took the
lead through a stunning 35-yard strike from Darren Ambrose. Federico Macheda immediately struck
back from the penalty spot.

Manchester United will continue their policy of fielding a youthful side in the Carling Cup when
they take on Crystal Palace in this week's quarter-final tie. Sir Alex Ferguson revealed he would
be making wholesale changes from the side that were held to a draw at home to Newcastle at the
weekend, with the majority of senior players expected to be rested once again.
Ian Walton/Getty Images(Bleacher Report) Dimitar Berbatov has been tipped to leave Old Trafford
ever since his apparent falling out with Sir Alex Ferguson during and after his failure to even
appear on the bench for Manchester United's 2011 UEFA Champions League Final match against
Barcelona.
The 2010-11 Barclay's English Premier League Golden Boot winner looked to be on his way out of Old
Trafford early in the summer.
After a stellar performance with Manchester United last season, life has become very hard for
Dimitar Berbatov after his fall out with club coach Sir Alex Ferguson. However, with injuries to
key players Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez, Sir Alex will have no option but to start the 30
year old.
Dimitar Berbatov was left out of Manchester United's starting line-up again, much to the
surprise of many fans who had been expecting the Bulgarian to make a return after barely getting on
the pitch this season.
Sit Alex Ferguson still insists that the striker has a future at the club, although this is
becoming more and more difficult to believe.
Now the international break is over, the games start coming thick and fast as Manchester United
have additional Champions League and Carling Cup commitments.
Sir Alex Ferguson knows how best to utilise his squad and will reward those who have patiently
watched the Reds rack up three consecutive victories in the Barclays Premier League.
We knew that a few weeks ago, there were reports that Alex Ferguson had offered Newcastle's Alan
Pardew, Manchester United striker Federico Macheda as a loan deal. Federico Macheda option on
season long loan But there's news today that Newcastle are back in for Sochaux striker Modibo
Maiga, but that depends on Sochaux bringing [.
Turns out we're trying to get Cameron Jerome, again. At first glance, I don't see why we'd spend
over 3 million on a striker that scored 3 goals last year. Yet, when looking at it further,
Birmingham couldn't score (something Aston Villa is currently experiencing; thank you Alex
McLeish!), and we're in dire need of a striker.
A contrasting issues apparently being faced by Machester United' coach, Sir Alex Ferguson, as he
is now facing a dilemma in choosing the attacking partnership up front especially after the fine
performances of young guns such as Danny Wellbeck in the last few games.
Wellbeck along with Federico Macheda, and Mame Biram Diouf all returned from their loan this
summer and simply adding the full packed rosters of forwards with Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen,
Javier "Chicarito" Hernandez and Dimitar Berbatov.
Ahead of today's highly anticipated Community Shield clash against Manchester City, Man United
manager Sir Alex Ferguson insists that he's happy with his deep pool of first team strikers. The
defending Premier League champions have an overcrowded front line, with seven players vying for
spots in the first team.
Manchester United love playing in the United States. If last season's popular tour was not
enough to justify this claim, the Red Devils once again made the journey across the Atlantic this
summer for their pre-season preparations.
This time around, the results were even more emphatic as Sir Alex Ferguson's men ruthlessly put
opponent after opponent to rest before ending the tour with a solid 2-1 win over European Champions
FC Barcelona in the nation's capital.
Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov could be on his way out of the club, as reports are
linking the Bulgarian with a move to the Italy.
Serie A outfit Juventus, who are seeking attacking reinforcements after making it clear that the
likes of Vincenzo Iaquinta and Luca Toni will not feature prominently in the coming season,
struggled for goals during their recent 2-1 defeat to Sporting Lisbon in an exhibition match in
Toronto.
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted he would understand if Dimitar Berbatov
decided to move on to a new club to find more regular first-team football.
The Red Devils have an abundance of goalscoring talent at their disposal for the upcoming
Premier League season with six players all battling for a place in the starting XI at Old
Trafford.
Mame Biram Diouf has been strongly linked with a move away from the club, with Blackpool and
Blackburn apparently interested in signing him on a permanent basis.
Diouf joined the club 18 months ago but has spent a whole season on loan at Blackburn, with his
highlights including a hattrick against Norwich in the League Cup and scoring against Arsenal in
his first start for the club.
Manchester United young Italian striker, Federico Macheda, had what he consider as a nightmare
loan season at Sampdoria, but "Kiko" admitted that it actually gives him another step to maturity
that hopefully can make him stay at Old Trafford in the upcoming season.
The Italian under 21 striker revealed that the different mentality in Serie A is what in the end
cost him the failure in getting much playing time but he is ready to fight for a place now at
United.
