The FAI today officially confirmed that Giovanni Trapattoni's Ireland will play the Czech Republic
in a friendly in Dublin on February 29.
They said the friendly will be the first of two home matches to be played in the Aviva Stadium
before Ireland go to the Euro Finals in June. The second friendly will take place at the end of May
and the opposition will be revealed by the association soon.

path of his father Keith, who represented Ireland in goal in 1997.
