Athletic Bilbao-Barcelona
Bilbao had one of the hottest starts of any La Liga squad, but the squad has not proven that
they can consistently score with only eleven goals on the year as a team. Barcelona has a few
guys that are not too far from that total including newly acquired forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

A young Torres in the good old days before incessant groin problems
Liverpool's
star striker Fernando Torres faces 2 months out as he could be in line for a hernia option if the
situation with his problematic groin does not improve.
While Torres will travel to France with the rest of his teammates to face off against Lyon in a
crucial Champions League clash on Wednesday, Rafa Benitez has confirmed that surgery is a very
realistic possibility.

The first boys 2A game of the night saw the Apple Valley Eagles (22-0-0) face off against the
Northfield Raiders (14-4-3) and it only took 19 seconds for Apple Valley to exert its dominance by
scoring a goal on their first trip down the field. Tom Obarski connected to put the Eagles up
1-0.
Northfields luck only got worse as they were called for a rather innocuous looking foul in the
box just 5 minutes later.

The two bottom feeders of group G are set to face off on Tuesday although I think it is unlikely
either of them will go through to the next round. So, in essence, it is a fight for the Europa Cup
spot.
Rangers have been in absolutely horrendous form of late and need a win to boost their

hamstring in the second half of the Fire's 2-2 draw with the Columbus Crew on September 20th, is no
