World's worst room service Corinthians are keeping their biggest star (literally) under house

star Adriano is being kept under lock and key at a hotel after the club decided to show tough love
to their striker to help his [.
On this week's Gadsby's England roundup, a new show has to take over the airwaves: The England
and FA February Farce. John Terry is sacked again, Don Fabio puts the knife in and publicly
criticizes his employers the FA – worse, in Italian; Rio says no, and poor Stevie G. doesn't know
what to make of it all.

After Blackburn got their very own Olsson twins yesterday, we look at the best of twin team-mates
to grace English football. 1. Rafael and Fabio Da Silva Arguably English football's top-achieving
twins to date, in tag team terms. Unlike some sets of footballing twins, the talent seems to be
fairly equal between the pair.

This week saw some serious Coppa Italia action as the Serie A was put on hold. On Tuesday,
Lazio fielded a side culled from both their first team and reserves against Serie B side Hellas
Verona – a gamble for which they almost paid dearly. After securing a 2-0 lead, Lazio seemingly
fell asleep, and Hellas got back into the game with two goals in the second half.
Lindegaard, Valencia, Jones, Ferdinand, Evra, Nani, Carrick, Giggs, Park, Rooney, Berbatov.
Subs: De Gea, Anderson, Hernandez, Welbeck, Fabio, Pogba and Lingard.

If we are to believe the lovely Mayans, the bearers of good news, then, sometime in 2012, the
year we've just entered of course, the beautiful human race – and also Luis Suarez – will be
wiped out by some sort of terrible catastrophe. Oh well. Thankfully however, there are a bunch of
cool, slick wordsmiths who are considerably more optimistic than the Mayans and see this year as
one, not of doom and gloom, but of happiness – in particular, for Manchester
United.

Yesterday, we took Twitter by storm with our #PreemptiveChelseaStatement hashtag as we pondered
what might happen if Chelsea put out a statement to defend John Terry in a similar vein to
Liverpool's Luis Suarez statement. 1. Some of John Terry's favourite mistresses are black. 2. John
Terry once co-refereed a football match with Uriah Rennie.
Sir Alex Ferguson has sung the praises of Manchester United's Brazilian twins, Rafael and Fabio
Da Silva, and hopes that the injuries which have seen them miss so much of the season so far will
become more infrequent the older they get.
"The two of them are terrific talents," said Ferguson.

Good news for England fans today as UEFA has reduced Wayne Rooney's three match suspension has
been reduced to two matches after a successful appeal by the FA.
The reduction means that Rooney , 26,will now be available for England's third Group D game,
against Ukraine, but will miss the fixtures against France and Sweden.
Following Manchester United's Carling Cup exit against Crystal Palace last night, OTP looks at five
players on display night who are treading a tightrope if they want to continue their careers at Old
Trafford. 1. Darron Gibson It looked like Fergie was going to ship Gibson out on the regular
Manchester-Sunderland service during the summer.

Iain Ramsay is certain to get more game time now Dutch star Andre Slory has left the game.
Isn't it time we gave our younger players ago rather than taking washed-up overseas stars who have
lost their love of the game.
We don't want you, and we don't want you coming here to reinvigorate yourself - unless you're Tomas
Broich or bloody good.

The real shame of the fiasco down in Melbourne is not:
The dismal style of football they are playing - we've seen that before.
Not the lack of game time for Costa Rican Juan Carlos Solarzano.
The signing of Fabio.
Now it is the destruction of young Kiwi star Marcos Rojas.
There has been some exciting, fast running Victory teams over the past seven years but this is not
one of them.
In fact I'm close to declaring it the worst team the Victory has ever produced.
When you see Danny Allsopp and Archie Thompson lining up together it might bring back memories for
older players but fans of the game know that partnership is little threat.
The transfer rumours have been a little quiet for international week at a time when actual news
is a little thin on the ground. However, as should probably be expected, those senior players who
are currently out of the starting XI are all being linked with moves away.
Jermain Defoe has struggled to command a starting place this season, despite striking up an
instantly successful partnership with Emmanuel Adebayor.
FELIZ terça-feira! Brazil defeated Egypt 2-0 last
night and Jonas netted in both goals for Mano's men ("quão legaaal" for
the Valenciano!) By all accounts, the selecao were expected to win this match anyway and
despite all his attempts, Hulk wasn't able to score from any of his best chances upfront.

By Eric Beard. Trying something new. Responses and reactions welcome.
Tom (thinking): Oh my... Where on earth am I? London, still? God I hope so.
WHAT. A. NIGHT. After the clock struck midnight though, bam! I can't remember a thing! Remember the
match perfectly though.
In the A-League we love to sign foreign players - often has beens from the lower teams or divisions
of Europe or Brazil.
Are the Aussie's really any worse?
After seven years we have our proof.
Here's five, still running around that we really don't need anymore, if we ever did - and I bet
they get more coin than the local player they replace.

Denmark face Portugal on Tuesday evening with a win guaranteeing qualification to Euro 2012. Its a
big task for the Dane's though, against a really strong Portugal side boasting some world class
players in their ranks the likes of Ricardo Carvalho, Fabio Contentrao, Cristiano Ronaldo and Luiz
Nani.
Why it wasn't good enough from Rooney or Capello
All that money, Fabio, and where are we? Scraping draws against the likes of Montenegro and
Switzerland to limp into the Euro 2012 Finals. All that money, Wayne, and where were you? Back in
the dressing room after one of the most stupid and rash red cards of your career.
Liverpool faces an anxious wait over the fitness of Martin Kelly after he was sent home from
England U21 duty with a groin problem.
The 21-year-old defender played 90 minutes for Stuart Pearce's side as they beat Iceland 3-0 in
Rekjavik in their Euro 2013 qualifier on Thursday night.
But he complained of tightness in his groin afterwards and, after consulting with the England
medical staff, it was decided that he should return to Merseyside as a precautionary measure.

It's only Day 2 of the Selecao Bootcamp and so much has gone down! Man United's
Fabio who declared once that he'd prefer to play for Portugal ("Oh no
he DI'INT!") went through the traditional
'Baptism Brasileira' process which involves standing on a chair
and telling the whole room why you're proud to play for Brazil.
The injury list is growing by the day, and Paulo Bento is quickly running out of options in
various positions. We started with Hugo Almeida, Pepe, and Fabio Coentrao all out due to injury.
Therefore Paulo Bento named this squad.
Goalkeepers: Eduardo (Benfica), Beto (CFR 1907 Cluj), Rui Patrício (Sporting).
