United hits a Set; Back in Second Place

The Offside: Manchester United 22 November @ 01:21 PM EST

First off, let me apologize for not having a live-blog for the game. I had to drive back to my parent's house for the Thanksgiving holiday, and was not able to get back until the game was well under way, and my current internet (damn you parents) is spotty as all hell.

Second, I was wrong.

But which team in particular do you dread watching more than any other in the Premier League?

What Did We Say About Replacing Ronaldo’s Goals?

Republik Of Mancunia 22 November @ 06:22 AM EST

Last season United beat Everton 1-0 thanks to a penalty scored by Cristiano Ronaldo. This season, United beat Everton 3-0 thanks to goals from Darren Fletcher, Michael Carrick and Antonio Valenca.

I'm not suggesting that United are better this season than they were last just because we beat a weaker Everton side by a larger scoreline, rather reinforcing the point I made when Ronaldo was sold.

Premier League Review: Man United 3-0 Everton

Man United Devils 22 November @ 05:39 AM EST
Before yesterday's game against Everton, I wasn't quite sure of what we were going to see. Man United don't tend to be at their best after International games but there was nothing to worry about. Man United eased to a comfortable 3-0 win over Everton and it could have been more than that. Click to continue reading...

So the Liverpool against Manchester City game on early Saturday was the perfect re-introduction to the Premier League.

Winning breeds confidence?

The Boys From White Hart Lane 21 November @ 07:44 AM EST
With the international breaks at an end for a fair few months now, Tottenham have an opportunity to lock their collective mind on continuing their impressive progress in the Premier League. Wigan visit the Lane tomorrow afternoon and as enigmatic as the visitors appear to be at times, Spurs' slick passing should be more than a match for them and provided the strikers can locate their specially made shooting boots, there could be goals in the offing. United welcome Everton to Old Trafford in the late kick off on Saturday in what, on paper, should be a fairly easy three points for Sir Alex Ferguson's side.

I mean no disrespect to Everton by this and on their day they're capable of beating anyone in the league but the fact of the matter is their injury list is huge and so many key players are missing.
