"Check that's not Jackie Chan, will you?" after one particularly high challenge in the African
Cup of Nations (ACN) semi-finals. Ah yes. Gary O'Reilly was back on Eurosport. And welcome back
too. However, the most telling comment of any international football tournament is "no goals
against." And that's a quote from Cote D'Ivoire.
Eurosport's international football coverage, as unique as it remains in the field of sports
broadcasting and run on a shoestring budget, remains excellent. And this year's ACN coverage has
been as comprehensive and well-informed as ever. But, as Groups B and D came to their conclusions,
well... oops.
African Cup of
Nations (Group C), Gabon vs Tunisia (1pmET, Al-Jazeera Sports / Eurosport
International):Tunisia and tournament co-host Gabon both won their first two group games and hence
will advance to the final eight (while the other two teams in the group, Niger and disappointing
Morocco, will go home).
We've got to post a quick recap of what we watched this past weekend but first, very briefly,
here are two games today that you could tune in for, in case you're looking for something to watch
this afternoon/evening (depending on your timezone):

Malbranque joins St Etienne - Yahoo! Eurosport St Etienne have confirmed the signing of Steed
Malbranque from Sunderland. The Ligue 1 outfit have agreed a two-year deal for the 31-year-old
midfielder, who returns to his native France for an undisclosed fee. A statement on www.asse.fr

So, having toyed with resembling England's men in 2006 and 2010, Hope Powell's England finally
plumped for Bobby Robson's 1986-vintage, coming (very) good in their last group game after early
stutters. Of course, they also resembled England's women from 2007 which, against Japan, was just
the right example to follow.
Serie A Inter 'not worried' if Sneijder leaves Yahoo! Eurosport.
Reports today out of Italy suggest that Dutch international Wesley Sneijder would be
allowed to leave Serie A club Inter Milan if the price was right. A surprising development as most
commentators had resigned themselves to the fact that Sneijder was staying put.
Mexico take on USA in the Gold Cup final tonight (or 2am on Sunday morning for us on Eurosport
2) in a bid to retain the trophy. This is the third final in a row to feature the two teams, with
Mexico winning 5-0 in 2009 and USA winning 2-1 in 2007.
Chicharito scored five goals in the three group stage games, scored the winner in the
quarter-finals, as well as scoring in extra time in the semi-finals to help Mexico beat
Honduras.
The schedule has been announced for next month's tournament in Romania, with Eurosport showing nine
games live including both semi-finals and the final.

Premier League - Jones 'undergoing United medical' - Yahoo! Eurosport Blackburn Rovers defender

League win at Chelsea... However, the former Ajax man, United's shoot-out hero in the final against
Chelsea three years ago, insists it is not a serious problem.
Richards fears derby woe - Yahoo! Eurosport Manchester City defender Micah Richards feels a
hamstring injury may rule him out of the FA Cup semi-final clash with rivals Manchester United.
Richards was stretchered off three minutes into England Under-21s 4-0 victory over Denmark on
Thursday night, and head coach Stuart Pearce revealed the full-back fears the worst.
