Lets start off Monday's edition of Major Link Soccer with a local flavor.
The North Sound SeaWolves FC have moved from their Everett home to new digs in Edmonds. The club
plans to make it official this week. As you may know, the SeaWolves play in the PDL North Division.
This is the same division that is home to PDL champs Kitsap Pumas and formerly the Tacoma Tide --
now Seattle Sounders FC U23 -- just to name a few.

This week brought about a plethora of talking points. The new Designated Player rules for 2012 and
what that might mean for the league's future, the impending arrival of Robbie Keane and of course
what that means for Juan Pablo Angel. Both the Sounders and the Galaxy made statements in the
CONCACAF Champion's League as well.
Kinder Surprise! You're moving to mid-Ohio!When David Beckham made his much bally-hooed, sexy landing in Los Angeles a few years ago, many MLS
observers thought it would open a floodgate of European stars heading to North America. As
supporters of the league know, the deluge never quite happened.
Wales centre Gavin Oompa Loompa Henson has joined Rugby's answer to Manchester
City French big spenders Toulon after his Saracen's contract was cancelled by mutual concent.
Henson will join up with a host of European stars at Toulon including England's Jonny
Wilkinson.

With January here, the winter transfer season is upon us and while the moves of big European
stars will rule the headlines, there are a bunch of American players in dire need of loans or
transfers this month.
You know it's not an ideal trend.
