It took four rounds of play but the Champions League group stages is finally heating up.

If the group stages finished as they are now, then Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Liverpool would all be playing in the Europa League.

Jose Mourinho and Inter Milan were five minutes away from an 9th consecutive Champions League game without a win, when two late goals not only gave Inter the win, but also propelled them to first place in the group.

It was quite the week for French teams in European football where Lyon showed incredible poise and Hugo Lloris certainly scored some points as the # 1 goalkeeper for France for the World Cup...it was also somewhat poetic justice to see a team Houllier successfully coached for 2 years beat Benitez's Liverpool at Anfield.

It's on one of those stations (channel 462 in this case; 462-1 in HD) that show every Champions League and Europe League game.
