For a few of Europe's international powers, the European Championship qualifying process didn't
go as planned, but there's still a shot to reach next summer's finals.
The final round of Euro 2012 qualifiers gets underway on Friday, starting with the first legs of
the home-and-away playoff series.
SPAIN equalled the historical 14 straight wins of Holland & France in official matches by
defeating SCOTLAND 3 - 1 in the Group I Euro 2012 qualifier. Spain finishes top of the Group &
goes straight into next years Poland-Ukraine Euro Championships, while Scotland misses out as the
Czech Republic won their game to grab the 2º place in the Group & thus continue with a chance to
qualify.
The SPANISH FOOTBALL NATIONAL TEAM assured their qualification & presence in the upcoming EURO
Championships next year with a 6 - 0 victory over LIECHTENSTEIN in their Group qualifying game. The
current FIFA World Championship, Spain, have 18 points from their six from six Group victories.

We're probably a bit slow on the uptake of this one but its worth reporting again anyway for
those of you who may have missed the story originally, but ex Man United midfielder Owen
Hargreaves, who is now a free agent having been released from Old Trafford a few weeks back, has
resorted to uploading videos to YouTube in a bid to prove his fitness again.
For those of you who missed it, FIFA announced its revised edition of its World Rankings
yesterday and I'm sure that many of you will be as surprised as I was when you see the top ten
looking like this:
- Netherlands
- Spain
- Germany
- England
- Uruguay
- Brazil
- Italy
- Portugal
- Argentina
- Croatia
Before I start my argument, perhaps we should look briefly at how this is worked out:
There are three main categories to decide where points are awarded; firstly, you have to win or
draw, no points will be awarded for a loss.
SPANISH FOOTBALL again has managed to put another National Team in a European Final, this time in
the U-19 Euro Championships being held in Rumania. The young Spaniards defeated IRELAND 5 - 0 in
the semi final clash & now go on to meet the Czech Rep in the Final Spanish Football player Morata

The SPAIN U-19 TEAM participating in the U-19 EURO CHAMPIONSHIPS in Rumania fell down hard back to
Earth with a 3 - 0 defeat against TURKEY. The Spaniards had nothing to lose in this match as they
had already qualified for the semis, however Turkey was playing for a spot & missed out because
Serbia did not lose against Belgium.
At long last, Manchester United have confirmed the signing of David De Gea from Atletico
Madrid.
Reports suggest United have forked out £18m for the young keeper, who has just won the U-21
Euro Championships.
"I feel very proud and I can't wait to start playing here," De Gea said to MUTV.
Spain were almost eliminated from the U 21 Euro Championships. They conceded an early goal to
Belarus and it took them all of 89 minutes to get the equaliser. The all important goal came from
Adrian Lopez who then went on to score another in extra time. The game ended with the score card
reading 3 -1.
The U-19 SPANISH FOOTBALL NATIONAL TEAM took a huge leap forward towards qualifying for the
upcoming U-19 EURO CHAMPIONSHIPS in Rumania. SPAIN defeated 3 - 0 MONTENEGRO in their second
pre-qualifier group clash. Spain won comfortably with two goals from Malaga player JUANMI & the

A clever video promoting the U21 Euro Championships due to start in Denmark on the 11th of
June.
As four letter acronyms charged with organizing the sport of football, UEFA doesn't need any
help looking really, really good right now FIFA is, as ever, doing the work for them
indirectly.
This is a bit of confirmation they're top of the charts. An experience, not much a viral,
commissioned for the U21 Euro Championships in Denmark.
A couple of things today:
The main thing is that we are holding our breath on injuries today. Robin van Persie picked up a
thigh injury during his last international match, Nicklas Bendtner picked up an ankle knock, and
Kieran Gibbs had to return early from international duty with a groin issue.
