For those of you who missed it, FIFA announced its revised edition of its World Rankings yesterday and I'm sure that many of you will be as surprised as I was when you see the top ten looking like this:

The SPAIN U-19 TEAM participating in the U-19 EURO CHAMPIONSHIPS in Rumania fell down hard back to Earth with a 3 - 0 defeat against TURKEY. The Spaniards had nothing to lose in this match as they had already qualified for the semis, however Turkey was playing for a spot & missed out because Serbia did not lose against Belgium.

Spain were almost eliminated from the U 21 Euro Championships.They conceded an early goal to Belarus and it took them all of 89 minutes to get the equaliser.The all important goal came from Adrian Lopez who then went on to score another in extra time.The game ended with the score card reading 3 -1.
