Dirk Kuyt has been a steady and dependable player for Liverpool over the last 5 years but unfortunately for him, the club has not won any trophies during his time at Anfield. This is clearly frustrating for Kuyt, as his latest comments on the issue show.
In comparison to other high-profile Dutch players, Kuyt is a pauper when it comes to winning trophies, with his only winner's medal coming from a KNVB Cup victory with Feyenoord in 2003.

The final home game in what has been an ultimately disappointing season, and a chance to almost cement 3rd place.

It hurt watching the Manchester clubs yesterday. Manchester City won the FA Cup and congratulations to the knuckle dragging, bog dwelling mingers upon winning the Title.

I can write in two words why we didn't win the PL in a year when we were surely the best football team Home Form.

I will wow the daily commuters with my eye-of-the-needle two feet passes and unrivalled not-falling-on-my-arse skills. But when I arrive home (two storeys, no library and a guest room with trampoline) after a hard, sweaty day's work completely happy and content, a small part of my mind will always be blackened by the thought of the February-March fortnight of 2011.
