Costa Rica's national team is in the midst of a rebuilding process. After last month's defeat to
Ecuador, Los Ticos fired their head coach Ricardo La Volpe. His replacement (for the time being) is
interim head coach Ronald Gonzalez.
Gonzalez earned more than 60 caps for Costa Rica and featured at the 1990 FIFA World Cup.

SAN JOSE, Costa Rica-- A relaxed Real Salt Lake squad went through the paces at Estadio Ricardo
Saprissa on Monday in preparation for its CONCACAF Champions League decider against Deportivo
Saprissa on Tuesday night (10pm, Fox Soccer Channel).
RSL comes in healthy and in good form, playing the most attractive soccer in MLS and looking
every bit like a club capable of posting a win in the hostile environment at Estadio Saprissa.
The U.S. national team and its fans are well aware of the cauldron that is Estadio Saprissa,
Costa Rica's former national soccer stadium and a locations the Americans never did win a match
in.
The next time the United States plays Costa Rica, it will face the Ticos at a brand-new
multi-million dollar facility set for completion in the early part of 2011.
