Hope Solo survived her fifth week on
Dancing with the Stars. I'm glad: she is a smart,
outspoken athlete and the challenge of that program requires that she confront the different ways
by which her image, as a woman, is regulated. I, for one, am glad she's willing to do so
publicly.
As I've mentioned in previous posts, some USWNT fans hate the way
DWTS treats Solo: Judges
complained for weeks about how unfeminine her movements are, and every week they cite her physical
strength as a weakness.
Move over Tim Howard, ESPN's new soccer hottie is none other than Hope Solo. Miss Solo has stripped
for ESPN Magazine's body issue. I am sure the USWNT is going to get a few more fans after this

Yes, I know most of you are pig-sick of her by now, but here's USWNT 'keeper Hope Solo posing
completely 'billy bollocks' on the cover of ESPN magazine's annual 'Body
Issue'...err...issue...
For reasons unknown, ESPN also had Hope engage in a spot of nudey-rudey gardening for good
measure.
The 2011 ESPN Magazine Body Issue is hitting the shelves soon. In it, there are a number of star
athletes naked. Perhaps the most famous naked athlete this year is reigning NBA Rookie of the Year
Blake Griffin. Blake Griffin naked pictures? Personally, I don't get the point.
What would Blake Griffin get out of appearing naked in ESPN Magazine.
