There are only four days left until the 2012 MLS SuperDraft gets underway. It will be televised
on ESPN 2 and 3 at 9a or Noon if you happen to be on the East Coast. The next few days will be
crucial for draft hopefuls as it's a time when their stock can rise or take a trip to the garbage
pit.
In a interesting turn the Guardian over in the UK, decided to let the supporter groups for all
19 MLS sides do the heavy lifting when it comes to this years SuperDraft.
Today MLS released the 2012 MLS schedule with the new unbalanced format. The full schedule is at
the end of the post, but here are some thoughts and information on the schedule.
KC opens the season on the 10th of March against DC, it's the 7th time in KC's history that they've
opened against DC.

Just a quick press release announcing the national broadcast schedule for First Kick 2012 in
MLS. The Dynamo will be a part of the festivites as their season opener against Chivas USA at the
Home Depot Center will be on Galavision.

PREVIEW: The Houston Dynamo open the 2011 MLS Cup Playoffs on the
road on Sunday, taking on second-year club Philadelphia.
One of the best weeks of the Premier League European football season gets underway on Saturday
with five games on the slate including a matchup on ESPN 2 as Swansea City visits Wolverhampton.
The big match of the week and the biggest of the season so far in Premier League sports betting
takes place on Sunday as Manchester City visits Manchester United.
Looks like the USMNT is stepping up the competition. While we may not win, it is pitting us against
better opposition in an effort to improve. It's also an international friendly day, post MLS and
thus the USMNT should be able to bring in a full starting lineup.That said, November 11th. Stade de
Paris, 2pm CST on ESPN 2.
USA - Ecuador is on ESPN 2 and Univision at 7pm. Euro 2012 qualifying on ESPN2: Germany - Belgium
at 1pm. On ESPN Deportes: Spain - Scotland at 3pm, France - Bosnia at 5pm, and Denmark - Portugal
at 7pm. Mexico plays Brazil on ESPN2 at 9:30pm. GolTV has Panama - Nicaragua at 8pm. All Times

This was originally going to be a three-part piece on life, liberty, and the profligacy that

The game against Manchester United kicks off in less than 4 hours. Tune into ESPN 2 or ESPN
Deportes at 4:00 PM CST if you aren't headed out to Soldier Field. The parking lots are already
open and the stadium will open at 2:30 PM. Since the game is at Soldier Field, obviously their
rules are the law of the land today.
It all comes down to Sunday. We've all heard it before (many, many times).

The US women are in the World Cup final for the first time since 1999. Many wondered if they
would have a letdown in their semifinal match against France following an emotional quarterfinal
win over Brazil.
The 2011 Women's World Cup will be televised on ESPN for viewers in the United States of

Sporting KC will finally play their first MLS game at Livestrong Sporting Park in Kansas
City.
Sporting KC will face the Chicago Fire tonight at 9:00 on ESPN 2.
Forgive me. I didn't want to sit through this game again. You have got to understand its an ESPN
televised game which means having to try and ignore the stupid scroll for two hours. Plus the
announcing, while not bad, is incredibly boring. Do these guys like the game? I have no idea. Would
it have killed them to let Max Bretos call this game so I could have gotten over the top goal
calls?
Soccer returns to Portland. On the eve, we have a last gasp of baseball complaining about MLS
requiring the city to have a soccer only stadium. I'm not one to be quick to praise MLS but they
deserve major credit for how they handled their end of the Portland expansion. You can watch it
unfold either on ESPN 2 or tune in online at ESPN360.
The schedule for all MLS teams was released today, along with the ESPN / ESPN 2 / ESPN Deportes
TV listings for the season. ESPN will be broadcasting 21 games this season, including the MLS
All-Star Game in New York. ESPN 2 is the go to channel for MLS, featuring 17 of the games, ESPN
will air 4 games, and ESPN Deportes will air all 21.
If you're like me, the schedule on MLS' website is too broken up to be of any use to me. So if
you're like me, please to enjoy this (perhaps) slightly easier to deal with schedule table.

Me parece una excelente noticia, pues no sólo no me gustan las narraciones en TV Azteca , sino
que además ESPN es mi cadena de deportes favorita, y es bueno ver que entren de lleno a las
transmisiones del futbol mexicano.
