last-gasp equalizer sent the French through to South Africa and sent Ireland scrambling to try to
force a replay "in the interests of fair play."

The final match of the year is set to kick off today for the U.S. men's national team as the
Americans take on Denmark (2:30pm, ESPN Classic/Galavision/ESPN2 after Ukraine-Greece) on the last
international matchday of the year.

The USA TV ratings for the Western Conference Final of the Los Angeles Galaxy v Houston Dynamo
is now the highest ever on ESPN2. The rating is good news for the league who is showing the
benefits of having David Beckham and the Galaxy in the playoffs. With the MLS Cup Final coming up

The Los Angeles Galaxy and Houston Dynamo are set to face off for a place in the 2009 MLS Cup
Final and it is anybody's guess which of these Western Conference powers will pull off the victory
tonight at the Home Depot Center (11:25pm, ESPN2).
The Galaxy will be the host tonight and is a slight favorite, but the Dynamo has a strong enough
defense and quality attacking weapons to score the upset.

The U17 World Cup wraps up this weekend. One of the semifinals begin tomorrow (Thursday) with
COLOMBIA-SWITZERLAND, live at 8:55 am on Galavision. The Final is Sunday November 15th, and ESPN2
will be broadcasting the game live at 11:45 am.
In addition to the U17 games, Saturday begins the final qualifying rounds for World Cup

On Sunday November 8th, a crowd of over 27,000 football fans watched the Houston Dynamo battle
Seattle Sounders F.C. to a 1-0 victory, giving the Dynamo their first playoff victory since winning
the MLS Cup in 2007. The goal came from Dynamo's Brian Ching in the 6th minute of extra-time.
