Michael Harrington made his 148th appearance for KC in all competitions, breaking his tie with
Diego Gutierrez for 13th place on that list.
Harrington also made his 11th appearance in all Open Cup competitions, moving him into a tie with
Preki for 4th on that list.
Here are some stats from last night's US Open Cup game.
Kevin Ellis became the first player from the Wizards Juniors program to make an appearance for KC's
first team.
Kei Kamara's goal was his 15th in all competitions for KC, he's the 20th player to score that many
goals in his KC career.
Michael Harrington made his 123rd league appearance, tying him with Chris Brown for 12th on that
list.
Harrington also made his 123rd start in all competitions, tying him with Jose Burciaga for 13th on
that list.
He also started his 111th league game, breaking his tie with Burciaga for 12th place on that list.
Well in my prediction on Friday night I said that this game looked like it would be a dull, drab
0-0 or 1-0 result, and it turned out to be exactly that. After Toronto's 6-2 loss last week I
expected them to sit a little deeper and play a similar game plan to the one KC did in Seattle
after losing 4-1 to LA.

Another road game, another loss for KC, their fourth in a row and their fifth of the season in LA
4-1 last night. KC is now winless in 6 games after beating Chivas USA in the season opener. Silly
mistakes ended up costing KC more than anything, stupid fouls and more lackadaisical defending, the
things that have defined KC's season so far.

Not a lot of stats from the game against the Dynamo, but here are a few.
Michael Harrington is on the KC player to appear in all four US Open Cup qualifiers KC has ever
played.
The shutout was Eric Kronberg's second career shutout, he earned one in KC's 0-0 draw with the USL
Seattle Sounders in the 2008 US Open Cup that the Wizards lost on penalties.
With the weekend off, KC threw out a virtual first team lineup in their game against the Houston
Dynamo, with Eric Kronberg and Shavar Thomas being the only two players that hadn't started a game
yet this season for KC. The Dynamo put out a few first teamers, but also put out more reserves than
KC did.
