Premier League Preview – Oct. 24-25

EPL Talk 22 October @ 02:12 PM EST

It's hard to look at the table and see a "9″ in the "played" column and call the next match on the schedule a must-win.

EPL Talk 24 September @ 02:44 PM EST

If it's lonely at the top, you wouldn't guess it by watching Chelsea run rampant through the Premier League in the early stages of the 2009-2010 campaign.

With a perfect 18 points in six matches and a +12 goal difference to boot, the Blues aren't letting their recent transfer ban get in the way of a rapid start.

It’s So Close Now

The Offside: Manchester United 15 May @ 05:34 PM EST

I can almost smell it.

At the end of tomorrow's match we could be celebrating our third consecutive EPL title for the second time since the league's inception in 1992.

As it stands we sit six points ahead of Liverpool in second with two games to go, with that in mind we need only one point from our remaining two games to win this year's Premier League.

EPL Gameweek 20 Fantasy Preview: Ronaldo Reliers Worried, Liverpool Lovers Thrilled

Never Captain Nicky Butt 26 December @ 06:51 PM EST
Well, Liverpool are top of the league after Christmas - just as Rafa predicted - and they looked superb in a big Boxing Day win over Bolton. Benayoun, Gerrard, and Alonso showed their immense talent in the midfield while Robbie Keane scored twice to silence his critics. But we have little time for reflecting on the past, as Sunday brings us a clean slate of footie fixtures and much room for fantasy debate. Click to continue reading...

In Butt's Brain: Wigan's Ryan Taylor

Never Captain Nicky Butt 06 December @ 11:11 AM EST
A quick note from Butt's Brain as I watch the Arsenal - Wigan match live. I haven't watched Wigan in quite some time but Ryan Taylor (4.2M) looks very lively today and has provided superb delivery from free kicks and corners for Wigan.
As we've mentioned in the past, Wigan defenders (Figueroa/Melchiot) should only be considered as bench options, but Taylor is playing in an advanced midfield role today. Click to continue reading...
