Didja like what you've seen so far? If you answered "no" then it probably won't get much better
than that. In this package of brilliance, you will find the inaction shots of Milos Kocic,
2010-workhorse-2011-goat Dan Gargan and the biggest endorsement 'miss' going of the
not-yet-Harvey's sponsored Torsten Frings.
Brazilian World Cup winner and former AC Milan and FC Barcelona star Rivaldo could soon be
playing his football in the African plains with top flight Angolan club Kabuscorp.
Rivaldo who was until last month a Sao Paulo player will become the first international star
player to ever play in an African league.

Chicago Fire interim head coach Frank Klopas will be a part of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in a
different light this Tuesday when his Fire take on two-time defending champion Seattle Sounders FC
at CenturyLink Field.
Klopas capped off the Fire's inaugural 1998 MLS season with the game-winning goal during Chicago's
Open Cup win over the Columbus Crew.
Below is a comparison of individual statistics from Henderson and Kuyt's last four league games
when played on the right of a 4-2-2-2. Formation notation is subjective, especially with this
season's group of players, but these are how I saw each formation at the start of matches. For
Henderson, that's wins over Wolves and Bolton, the draw against Sunderland, and loss at Stoke.
Jonah Freedman of MLSsoccer.com had written this post prior to Bob Bradley's deal with Egypt, but
he writes about the historical significance of Bradley's deal, and what it means for US Soccer.
Although the deal isn't officially done yet as of Thursday evening, all indications point to Bob
Bradley set to sign a contract that will make him the new manager of the Egyptian national team.
Liverpool's Kenny Dalglish picks Jamie Carragher on form not legacy
Kenny Dalglish has given Jamie Carragher a ringing endorsement as he insisted Liverpool's
stand-in captain is being picked on merit rather than his legacy.

Craig Bellamy will make his second debut for Liverpool at Stoke on Saturday backed by the ringing
endorsement of his new manager and childhood hero Kenny Dalglish.
The Scot believes that the Welsh international is a better player at 32 than he was at 25.
Bellamy took a substantial pay cut and accepted a reduced compensation figure from Manchester City
in order to force through a free transfer move to Anfield on deadline day last month.

There's some big, convoluted marketing message that goes with this clip but I can't be assed to go
along with it because Thierry Henry's beard looks so outlandishly, distractingy lush in the video
still. Seriously, I haven't seen a beard so black, so luxurious since Barry White died.
I bet that s*** smells ridiculous too, like fine musk & fresh leather.
I know Juan Agudelo is the poster child for MLS Home Grown Players but you could argue, probably
with ease, that Bill Hamid is making a bigger impact for his club than Juan Juan. He may not have
the adidas endorsement, the USMNT call ups or the TV commercials but he starts on the
reg...something that Agudelo doesn't do.
The world's oldest football competition will be sponsored for the next three years by the
"King of Beers". The competition is to be grandiosely re-branded as the FA Cup with
Budweiser.
The FA of course gets some serious business. For the more finicky it's a measure of the beer's
quality when the Budweiser ads generate more buzz than the taste.
It's time for a changing of the guard in Major League Soccer. Real Salt Lake's infamous "fortress"
(as if slapping a fake endorsement from the Spanish king on their team name wasn't pretentious
enough) is in shambles after a loss to the Sounders two weeks ago snapped their 29 game unbeaten
streak in league play.
One of the drag queens from Bosom Buddies has spoken out about the coaching situation in Aston
Villa and has made a surprising endorsement. His suggestion? Brian Clough. Really.
Today posted on the Star that it looks like Nick Garcia is going to be training with the team. It
sounds like it's not quite a trial, but not quite just training either. And with the way that the
center defense has played at times this season, one might think this is a good move to sign for the
former Wizards player.
Tottenham's latest target Leandro Damiao has received a glowing endorsement from his fellow
Brazilian Sandro as Spurs may be set to battle it out with Barcelona for his signature.
Leandro is still only 21 and has just made his debut for the full Brazilian side yet his
performances for Internacional have made Barca take notice.
RoM were able to give away two tickets to the CL semi-final against Schalke thanks to Sony
Ericsson.
They are now offering fans the opportunity to win two tickets to the final.
To enter you need to visit the Sony Ericsson Football FANatic Facebook page and explain why you
are the biggest fan and why you should be chosen to receive the tickets.
Derrick Rose is very likely to win the 2011 NBA Most Valuable Player award. His chances to win
MVP just got better after he got a key endorsement ... from LeBron James. LeBron, who is also in
the MVP race, had this to say when asked who the MVP should be for the 2011 season: "I think
Derrick Rose".
Supporters' Online Petition - SAVE LEYTON ORIENT FOOTBALL CLUB
We the undersigned urge the government and Mayor of London's office to help Save Leyton Orient
Football Club by reconsidering their endorsement of West Ham's move to the Olympic Stadium. Premier
League and Football League rules on ground moves clearly state a move should not "adversely affect
Clubs (or Football League clubs) having their registered grounds in the immediate vicinity of the
proposed location".
I was getting ready to eat crow when news came out that the NASL would indeed receive USSF
sanctioning as the Division II soccer league in the United States for 2011. If you'll recall, I'd
made statements like:
New investors are going to have to come out of the woodwork pronto for NASL to have any
chance of success in its reapplication for Division II Sanctioning.

Just imagine the scenario – the final day of the campaign is over, and West Ham United have
finished a point adrift of 17th spot, sentencing themselves to a year, at least, in the
Championship.
I found this video, produced by the Qatar bid, to be a fascinatingly constructed piece of work,
transforming Zidane's biography into an endorsement of the need for a Middle Eastern World Cup. In
it, Zidane returns to his childhood home and talks about his career, and repeatedly refers to the
difficulties he faced because of "his origins" as a child of Algerian immigrants.
Huge singing for the New York Cosmos signing who have hired the King Eric Cantona as it's
director of soccer as the Cosmos hope to become the 20th team in Major League Soccer. Cantona will
work with former United States midfielder Cobi Jones, who is the club's assistant director of
soccer.
"It's a big project, a wonderful project," Cantona said.
