The Union confirmed on Wednesday through the team's Twitter account that Zac MacMath is joined
in preseason training by Chase Harrison, who had temporarily joined the club late last season when
Faryd Mondragon and Thorne Holder were both out with injuries before the club declined the option
to sign him in November to make him available for the Re-Entry Draft.

United States fullback Eric Lichaj has completed his return from a hip injury that kept him out
of action for the better part of the last five months, making the bench for Aston Villa's first
team in its last two matches. Despite Lichaj being a candidate to go on loan upon his return, Aston
Villa appears to be remain committed to seeing what he can do for the club, even if that means
moving him to a new spot on the field.

The Beckham experiment could end up lasting another year. At least the Los Angeles Galaxy are
hoping so.
The Galaxy has offered David Beckham a one-year contract extension, which is believed to be
worth $8.9 million. The offer is an attempt to keep Beckham with Los Angeles, as his contract is
set to expire at the end of the year.

Tony Pulis is a man who is obviously taking the FA Cup extremely seriously this season. That much
has, in fairness, been clear since the competition started all those months ago, with the manager
consistently coming out with some entertaining fighting talk before Stoke's numerous fixtures, all
of which have brought them to the point at which they are able to prepare for a semi-final clash
with Bolton at Wembley, a game the FA Cup betting odds suggest they could win.

Konchesky had looked set to move back to west London, but they were unable to offload Carlos
Salcido who has failed to settle in England since his summer move from PSV Eindhoven, which could
see the left back move to Forest for the rest of the season, according to The Times.
Luke Daley: Is he the answer to our goalscoring problems?
There have been a lot of outgoings this January, so it was a nice change to get someone in
today. Luke Daley has joined the club on a one month "emergency" loan deal from Championship
high-flyers Norwich. I don't really understand this term of "emergency loan".
Mike Grella figured to have a good chance for playing time with Scottish club Motherwell, but
now he won't have that chance.
Grella's loan from Leeds to Motherwell has been cancelled due to FIFA regulations that don't
allow players to play for three clubs in one season. Grella had played for Carlisle United on loan
last fall, an emergency loan neither Leeds or Motherwell believed would count against Grella, but
the Scottish FA put a halt to the loan.
