The have some very thin striking options after Sturridge and Elmander left at the end of last season, compounded by some defensive injuries and suspensions forcing them into playing Zat Knight.

Week 2 of the Premiership has arrived, although it is no less exciting. This weekend Manchester City travel to the Reebok, in our first (of many) Northwest derbies of the season. The Trotters disappointed me last season, I thought Owen Coyle really had something but the longer the season went on, the worse they got.

I struggled with this category. Our shortage of strikers made it so there was no obvious option. In the end I went with Klasnic for several reasons. He's scored 5 times in preseason, which will build up his confidence.

Quick Reminder, Real Life A hot start to the season seemed to fall apart when rising playmaker Stuart Holden was injured and Elmander, who started the season blazing hot, cooled dramatically. This match is a bit of a frightening prospect. After a horrorshow start to the season, Everton are pulling themselves together, and last weekend executed a 5-3 thrashing of Blackpool. Moyes' and his blue boys will be sailing after that elating result. Bolton however still haven't righted the ship after a mid-season dip in form.

Who Won:
Chelsea: Blues fans must be delighted. Okay, there's an element of risk in paying 50m for a striker who's done little in the past year, but despite buying yachts, art and world cups, Roman still seems interested in Chelsea.
Liverpool: Replacing an in form Torres would be almost impossible, but he hasn't been happy for months and they got 50m for him.

Gameweek 24 with it double matches went very well, my tips for fantasy premier league performed admirably, and that's always nice. I even hit the 100 points mark I was after with 113 points.
